*OBJECTIVE OF THE PROJECT*

For people disabled below the waist, mobility is a large problem. Over the years, technology

has led to the development of certain mobility assisting devices. Nowadays, people with

disabilities are using a crutches or a wheelchair to survive in their daily lives.

Disability is increasingly on the development agenda and is one of the major challenges to

be focused for the overall development of the society. Disability is one of the major causes

for dependency and deprivations throughout the world.

Crutches is wooden or metal vertical prop that helps support a disabled person while he or

she is walking. Crutches were used since ancient Egypt but it was commercially produced

in1917 by Emile Schlick, then wheelchair was invented. In 1783, John Dawson of England

the first one to create the said invention. A wheelchair is a wheeled mobility device in which

the user sits. The device is propelled either manually (by turning the wheels by the hand) or

via various automated systems. There are often handles behind the seat to allow for

different individuals to push.

As time goes by, technology affects these inventions. Technology is knowledge or a set of

tools that helps make things easier or resolve problems. So as technology arises, many

people demand more to make their life much easier and convenient especially for our PWD

(Person with disabilities). Many innovations of wheelchairs and crutches came. You can buy

it everywhere, you can also customize it. Thanks to technology, it makes our life easier.

Also, many inventions used different materials to be popular to the customers. Some used a

lightweight materials, or it can be an eco-friendly material, also it comes with a different

designs to make it pop to the people.

As we talk about “eco-friendly materials”, it means not harmful to the environment. Many

companies who make wheelchairs and crutches doesn’t care on what will be its effects on

the environment or nature, as long as they can produce and sell this products. Also as we

move on to our proposal you will see what are the materials we want for our innovation.

We want to create an innovation that can help the people but also reduce pollution and

help maintain the environment we live in.

*REVIEW OF LITERATURE*

According to Yvonne Zimba (2015) people with disabilities have the same health needs as

non-disabled people – for immunization, cancer screening etc. They also may experience a

narrower margin of health, both because of poverty and social exclusion, and also because

they may be vulnerable to secondary conditions, such as pressure sores or urinary tract

infections. Evidence suggests that people with disabilities face barriers in accessing the

health and rehabilitation services they need in many settings.

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), around 15 per cent of the world’s

population, or estimated 1 billion people, live with different disabilities. They are the

world’s largest minority. This figure is increasing through population growth, medical

advances and the ageing process, says the World Health Organization. In countries with life

expectancies over 70 years, individuals spend on average about 8 years, or 11.5 per cent of

their life span, living with disabilities, reports Disabled World. Eighty per cent of persons

with disabilities live in developing countries, according to the United Nations Development

Programme (UNDP).

Several studies have shown that both children and adults benefit substantially from access

to a means of independent mobility. While the needs of many individuals with disabilities

can be satisfied with traditional manual or powered wheelchairs, a segment of the disabled

community finds it difficult or impossible to use wheelchairs independently. To

accommodate this population, researchers have used technologies originally developed for

convenience.

In the USA, wheelchair manufacturers must meet the American National Standards
Institute/Rehabilitation Engineering Society of North America (ANSI/RESNA) standards

before marketing their products. Wheelchair weight and the adjustable configurations can

dramatically affect the biomechanics of propulsion and users’ satisfaction. Wheelchairs are

classified based on their weight and adjustability into standard or depot, lightweight and

ultralight wheelchairs. Chair weight has been reported to be a reason for non-use among

older adults. Energy expenditure and kinematic measurements have been investigated in

correlation with wheelchair weight and floor surface. Weight addition in the range of 5 to10

kg has not been shown to significantly affect propulsion kinematics on a tiled surface, yet

weight-imposed differences might impact mobility over more fatiguing surfaces. According

to some studies, wheelchair confined individuals have rated ultralight wheelchairs as more

appropriate in providing a more comfortable ride due to superior ergonomic design.

Furthermore, some studies have observed a lack of interaction between axle position and

weight, suggesting reduction of peak propulsion force regardless of the axel position. The

optimal combination of lightest wheelchair possible and most anterior axle position

tolerated by the disabled person could provide efficiency while maintaining stability.

Endurance, durability, mass and stability of wheelchairs are dependent on the frame

materials used. Wheelchairs’ durability and fatigue life have been the subject of rigorous

investigations. Lightweight wheelchairs are typically made from steel, aluminum or a

combination, while alloy steel, aluminum, titanium or composites are usually used to make

ultralight wheelchairs. Studies indicate that frame material does not directly affect the

wheelchair performance in durability standard tests, and design based on standard

mechanical properties is more important. Existing literature suggests that despite their

higher price, ultralight wheelchairs are more cost-effective options compared with

lightweight and depot wheelchairs due to their longer fatigue life. In addition, the

adjustable components of the ultralight wheelchairs make it more flexible to meet the

users’ needs.
More aging, older people with various clinical conditions have much opportunity to

participate in society. It is important for them to acquire the means for mobility and to

encourage participation and independence from support. They are often required to go out

even if they use tools such as assisted mobility device. Among these tools, they can easily

use a cane or crutch. The cane and crutch help move about independently, maintain their

balance, reduce lower-limb loading and joint pain, and/or compensate for weakness or

injury. Therefore, older people with disabilities often use them, and physical therapists

consider use of cane for them.

On the other hand, there are innovative studies and proposals in which can help PWD’s to

ease the bored or feeling alone. According to the study of Harrison A., and Derwent G.,

(2009), indicated that the two virtual environments represent a potentially useful means of

assessing and training novice powered wheelchair users. The virtual environments however

must become less challenging if they are to represent a motivating and effective means of

improving performance. Further development of the way in which wheelchair movement is

controlled and simulated represents a key element in this multi stage project.

Crutches has also its own significance in any types of injury that a person had. It depends on

what crutch they use. In the past study of Dounis, E and G. K. Rose entitled “A Comparison

Of Efficiency Of Three Types Of Crutches Using Oxygen Consumption”, the results because

the axillary crutch can cause axillary artery thrombosis and crutch palsy, the elbow crutch is

more frequently used. Canadian crutches combine features of both the axilla and elbow

crutches. A previous study examined any advantages in terms of energy cost using heart

rate. The present study re-evaluates the energy cost by using the measurement of oxygen

consumption. The study further suggests that the Canadian crutches have advantages in

terms of energy cost. A wheelchair is chair with wheels, designed to help the disabled
individuals whereas walker is the stable device which is used by the patient to stand and

give support to the patient to walk and stretchers are mobility devices used to transport the

patients from one place to other. These medical mobility aids are used in hospitals and

clinics for helping the patients. Stretchers are simple in construction and the patient needs

the support of an assistant to transport from one place to other. Whereas walker is used by

patient to walk without any help of any assistance and wheelchair is designed in such a way

that either patient can control the device manually or with the help of someone’s

assistance. According to Peter Axelson[1], selection of an appropriate wheelchair will lead a

comfortable living to the user. Performance, safety and dimensions are the three categories

which have to be considered while selecting a manual or powered wheelchair. An excellent

approach to the wheelchair selection is to set priorities based on user’s mobility and seating

needs. It is highly recommended that a novice can consult with there habilitation specialists

in order to select the appropriate wheelchair. James Kauzlarich [2], says self excited

vibrations one of the most interesting topics in the field of vibrations and is the science

prevailing caster wheel shimmy. Self excited vibration is characterized by vibration that is

produced by the motion of the system like wheelchair speed. It can be observed that in

most of the cheapest wheelchairs, the design of the casters makes use of a sliding frictional

damper in the spindle support to improve the shimmy characteristics. Understanding the

theory of damping for the casters show how shimmy prevention works in ultra-light and

powered wheelchairs.
*GENERATION OF PRODUCT IDEAS*

Lack of access to mobility for people with disabilities, particularly in less-resourced settings,

continues to be widespread. Despite challenges to wheelchair delivery, the benefits to

health, employment, social integration and life satisfaction are apparent.

Disability literally refers to some kind of restriction or lack of ability to perform an activity in

the manner considered normal for a person in human society. As a result of disability the

patient finds it increasingly difficult to carry on his day-to-day activities including that of

daily living. The activities of daily living refer to practical skills needed to care for one’s basic

survival needs and to function in the society.

Disability serves as a multi-definition that is associated with people who have mental,

physical and intellectual challenges. Disability has also been classified into biomedical and

social modes. In reference to biomedical modes, it means disability that accredited to

medical challenges and social modes refer to disability that is associated with social

challenges. Literary disability can be defined as ‘‘a fixed condition of preset illnesses which

cannot be changed.’’ (Smith, 2009) This definition may have been debatable because the

advancement of technology has brought about positive development to medicine. And this

has further brought about changes to the world of disability. This can be associated with

disabilities that have been corrected by medical procedures. To this end, disability can also

be defined as any form of impairment that negatively affects the ability of a person to

function by and large.

People who have walking disabilities unfortunately don’t have the chance to experience

walking. As for us, we walk for a living and with that we thought about how fortunate we
are to be able to walk, and we wanted those disabled people to experience something that

they would dream of doing. This project is developing a modern wheelchair for easy

transport of handy cafe and injured persons. We could improve our wheelchair/crutches by

making it simpler so the crutches won’t be so difficult to take out of handles of the

wheelchair. We could also improve it by making the wheelchair/crutches more comfortable

by adding cushions or pillow pets.We thought of a bunch of ideas but we thought this idea

was best because we thought people that have a hard time walking or can’t walk at all,

would learn from their experience from using our convertible wheelchair. Canes, crutches

and walkers can be used with or without orthoses to normalize gait pattern, reduce energy

expenditure, and enhance balance, safety, and mobility. These aids can be considered

extensions of the upper limbs; therefore, the maintenance of upper limb strength and range

of motion can prolong their use. Device selection is based on strength, tone, and range of

motion in the trunk and upper and lower extremities, degree of body weight support

needed, degree of fatigue present, rate of disease progression, individual desires and goals

and economic capabilities. Training by a physical therapist on any aid prescribed is

recommended.

In general, canes provide the least support for gait stability and can be recommended for

individuals with mild lower extremity weakness or balance impairments. Canes can be

wooden or aluminum, solid or adjustable height, with one or four points of contact with the

ground, and with narrow or wide bases. Grips on handles can be enlarged to accommodate

handgrip weakness. A cane should be held in the arm opposite the weakest side and should

be fitted for 20 degrees of elbow flexion. One should lead with the stronger limb on flat

ground and in ascending stairs and with the weaker limb when descending stairs. Quad

canes, which provide four points of contact with the ground, can be of standard or wide

base, and provide additional stability as compared with standard canes.

*IDEA SCREENING*

The idea is to have a modified wheelchair that can be folded and converted into a crutch so

that it is easy to take stairs as well for the user

Budget: Estimating the cost for developing thr product, the budget must include marketing

Cost. The budget of our product will not be very much only modifications are done in the

manufactured wheelchair. We will definitely keep the price of the product very low so that

it can be used by every classes of disabled people.

Value: The product not only satisfy the need of the disabled people but also very budget

Friendly. People who have alking disabilities unfortunately do not have the chance to

experience walking. As for us, we walk for a living and with that we thought about how

fortunate we are to be able to walk and we wanted those disabled people to experience

something they would dream of doing. So is going to be a very valuable product for the

users.

Feasibility : This idea is to have a modified wheelchair that can be folded and converted into

crutches so that it is easy to take stairs as well for the users. With the help of our product

the users will be benfitted as they can use stairs without any kind of depency on anyone.

Therefore we are providing a very feasible product to our customers.

Risk: There is a danger of slipping and causing additional injury to thr disabled users. On the

other hand the users may not accept the product due to its new modifications. There are

not very severe risks against our product.

Strengths: The product has a very few limitations are it has many pros about this

innovation. Our study was intended to develop a concept of wheelchair convertible

stretcher with the motivation of saving space and prevent exertion of patient as well as by

making sure that thepatient does not get hurt. The mechanism and safety of patient were

our main priorities whiledesigning the conceptual model of wheelchair convertible

stretcher. Our study shows that it ispossible to save 80% space by using wheelchair

Convertible stretcher rather than using wheelchairwalker and stretcher separately. This

design eliminates the steps of shifting patients fromwheelchair to stretcher and vice versa

as nurturing of disabled people becomes difficult. Our designwill thus be an efficient

mobility aid for the medical field Adding the features of Walker would makethe product

more reliable be much more innovative and can satisfy the needs of the patients tomuch

higher extent.
*CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT*

Significance of the Study

PWD’s- This project would help disabled people to easily handle on their own. It would not

be a waste of time to transport and would be able to take the convertible wheelchair

anywhere they want.

Seniors- People who are old enough, can’t be able to walk and have a slow stamina will

surely benefit this project. It is completely affordable so anybody can easily get it and use it

according to its purpose.

Hospital- The wheelchair can be used at the hospital for temporary use for some patients.

As well as the crutches can be easily used. Its purpose would be two in one.

Scope and Limitation:

This study will focus on developing a convertible wheelchair to a crutches. This innovation

aims to help people with disabilities, senior citizens and hospitalized people. This

innovation focus on the effects of it to the people that we chose and also focuses on its

effects on the society and environment.

Hypothesis
If we combine both the wheelchair and crutches, then it would be easy to transport in any

place and would be able to transfer easily from crutches to wheelchair or vice versa.
*MARKET STRATEGY DESIGN*

Plan Early, Don't Wait Until the Last Minute:

I will first plan 8 to 12 weeks to launch my service and find out where my customers are and

where I will prepare my portfolio to let my customers know about my work and the quality of

my work.

Find Your Influencers:

You need to find the influencers that impact your target market. Introduce them to the

product or service that you are getting ready to roll out. Give them the news first. Give them a

trial and/or sample and encourage them to share a review or post it on their social

channels. Public relations has transformed over the last few years, now we have to look at

multiple sources to get our information out and one of those sources includes

influencers. Online influencers have succeeded in building audiences that pay attention to

them through their blog, social media channels, video, etc and because of that their influence

is often greater than that of mass media.

Use the Social Media Platforms to Plant Leaks:

Find those people that are interested in my product and or service, brand advocates if I can

and inform them of the "coming soon" information or even leaked videos or photos. This will

build sizzle and interest. Not to mention everyone likes to feel like they are the "first to

know."
Keep Realistic Expectations:

Unless you are a big brand name you may not see a huge reception of your new product and

or service launch. Don't get discouraged, be consistent in sharing the news and try to make

the launch as personable as possible. Remember, consumers love to interact with companies

that they feel they have a relationship with.

Press Is Not One and Done:

As mentioned previously reporters and influencers are bombarded with news stories every

day. We receive about 5 to 10 product and or service launches in our inbox on any given

day. We aren't always insiders on when reporters have the capacity to write an article or when

influencers have the time to get to your emails, so try to be patient and stay in touch with

them, don't overwhelm them, but don't let them forget your name either.

Be Creative:

You need to remember your objective is to get their attention. The influencers and press that

you are reaching out to get several press pitches a day. What will you do to be different? Put

your creative cap on. Perhaps it's a funny video, a meme, a public service announcement that

will get attention. Maybe a press kit sent through the postal mail with a fun or

useful chachka will grab their interest.

Make It Easy for People to Learn About Your Product:

Create videos, demos, whitepapers, and information sheets so people can easily learn about

the product or services you are offering. Don't make them hunt for information. The easier

you make it for them to get the word out, the better chance you will have of them sharing

your information.

FEEDBACK

This research will be conducted in order to help people disabled below the waist to be able

to move freely and fair bit freedom to the user. First is the analyzation of the problem we

need to know the causes of such dysfunction. Next we planned the necessary required
parts in order to build said wheelchair convertible into crutches. Picking the good and high

quality materials is a must to ensure the safety of the user. After that we started the

construction of said wheelchair. Major processes used were

drilling, welding, cutting, grinding. Main element of the project is the crutches it has high

mobility that aid transfers weight from legs to the upper body. After said fabrication we

intend to test it temporary to patients from the hospital. Can also be used by handicap

persons so having this project will be able to do their duties without hesistation.

Completely foldable and transportable so that taking it to other places is easy. Also

completely affordable can easily get it and use it anywhere anytime. Lastly is the feedback

of the users to ensure if our product is helpful or not.

B. Manufacturing

The major processes that are used is drilling, welding, cutting, grinding. These processes are

explained in detail as below:

 Drilling:-

Drilled holes are characterized by their sharp edge on the entrance side and the presence of

burrs on the exit side (unless they have been removed). Also, the inside of the hole usually

has helical feed marks.

- Drilling may affect the mechanical properties of the work piece by creating low residual

stresses around the whole opening and a very thin layer of highly stressed and disturbed

material.

on the newly formed surface. This causes the work piece to become more susceptible to

corrosion and crack propagation at the stressed surface. A finish operation may be done to

avoid these detrimental conditions.

- For fluted drill bits, any chips are removed via the

flutes. Chips may form long spirals (undesirable)or small flakes, depending on the material,

and process parameters. The type of chipsnformed can be an indicator of the machinability

of the material, with long chips suggesting poor material machinability.

- When possible drilled holes should be located perpendicular to the work piece surface.

This minimizes the drill bit's tendency to "walk", that is, to be deflected from the intended

centre-line of the bore, causing the hole to be misplaced. The higher the length-to-diameter

ratio of the drill bit, the greater the tendency to walk. The tendency to walk is also pre

-empted in various other ways, which include:

• Establishing a centering mark or feature before drilling, such as by: • Casting, moulding, or

forging a mark into the work piece

• Centre punching

• Spot drilling (i.e., centre drilling)

• Spot facing, which is machining a certain area on a casting or forging to establish an

accurately located face on an otherwise rough surface.

• Constraining the position of the drill bit using a drill jig with drill bushings

- Surface finish produced by drilling may range from 32 to 500 micro inches. Finish cuts will

generate surfaces near 32 micro inches, and roughing will be near 500 micro inches.

- Cutting fluid is commonly used to cool the drill bit, increase tool life, increase speeds and
feeds, increase the surface finish, and aid in ejecting chips. Application of these fluids is
usually done by flooding the work piece with coolant and lubricant or by applying a spray
mist.
 A wide variety of machines are used for grinding: -

Hand-cranked knife-sharpening stones (grindstones)

- Handheld power tools such as angle grinders and die grinders

- Various kinds of expensive industrial machine tools called grinding machines

- Bench grinders often found in residential garages and basements

- Grinding practice is a large and diverse area of manufacturing and tool making. It can

produce very fine finishes and very accurate dimensions; yet in mass production contexts it

can also rough out large volumes of metal quite rapidly.

- It is usually better suited to the machining of very hard materials than is "regular"

machining and until recent decades it was the only practical way to machine such materials

as hardened steels.

C. Elements of Project

1. Crutches: - The crutches are a main element of this project. A crutch is mobility aid
that
transfers weight from the legs to the upper body. It is often used by peoples who

cannot use their legs not support their weight for reasons ranging from short term

injuries to lifetime disabilities.

 Types of Crutches

• Foream

• PI Underarm

• Ateform
• Leg Support

 Use of materials in crutches 1) Aluminium 2) Wood 3) Metal alloys (steel, aluminium

alloys, titanium alloys) 4) Carbon or glass fibre reinforced composites 5) Thermo plastic

6) Carbon fibre reinforced polymer.

2. Bearing - A bearing is a machine element that constrains relative motion to only the

desired motion, and reduces friction between moving parts. The design of the

bearing may, for example, provide for free linear movement of the moving part or

for free rotation around a fixed axis; or, it may prevent at motion by controlling the

vectors of normal forces that bear on the moving parts.

3. Wheel - A bicycle wheel is a wheel, most commonly a wire wheel, designed for a

bicycle. A pair is often called a wheel set, especially in the context of ready built "off

the shelf" performance oriented wheels.

*COMMERCIALIZATION*

How can you attract more customers to your business:

Follow, create, and serve your clients .Starting a new business is like floating on the deep

ocean, Alone. Your brain will get stuck with many ideas & planning, you’ll have to handle so

many peoples, and the checklist goes on. You have to think, plan, and improvise many things

at a time — to be successful.

So let’s jump into the ocean. At first — Target your clients

To know who is your actual client, ask this simple question to yourself- what kind of

businesses need wheelchais.

PWD’s- This project would help disabled people to easily handle on their own. It would not

be a waste of time to transport and would be able to take the convertible wheelchair anywhere

they want. PWDs will be the most benefitted audience for the product.

Seniors- People who are old enough, can’t be able to walk and have a slow stamina will

surely benefit this project. It is completely affordable so anybody can easily get it and use it

according to its purpose. Old people with low stamina will be needing this device so they will

be our required audience.

Hospital- The wheelchair can be used at the hospital for temporary use for some patients. As

well as the crutches can be easily used. Its purpose would be two in one. Disabled and injured

people at hospitals temporary as well as permanent also.

Mobility devices are appropriate for people who experience a wide range of mobility

difficulties as a result of a broad spectrum of health conditions and impairments, including

amputation, arthritis, cerebral palsy, poliomyelitis, muscular dystrophy, spinal-cord injury,

spina bifida, stroke and are also relevant for older people who experience mobility difficulties.

Assistive technologies such as wheelchairs have been shown that, when appropriate to the user

and the user’s environment, they have a significant impact on the level of independence and

participation which people with disabilities are able to achieve. This also reduces the burden

of care and has been reported to reduce the overall need for formal support services.

Old Age Homes: When you have a senior citizen or patient at home a convertible wheelchair is

essential . It may not be needed every day but can save your daily situation of emergencies. It

can even be a good option after surgeries to avoid excessive physical stress to the patients. If you

want to go for a wheelchair for your home to prepare yourself for emergencies your can go for

our Covertible and fordable wheelchair. These wheelchairs save space when not in use and also

allow you to conveniently carry them along with you.

Nursing Homes : The number of nursing home residents in the United States is projected to

reach three million by the year 2030. Currently, over 80% of residents spend time sitting in a

wheelchair every day. Many of these residents are overlooked for therapeutic treatment because

they are perceived as being too physically disabled and/or without rehabilitation potential.

Furthermore, use of wheelchairs is associated with many types of adverse outcomes and injuries,

including deconditioning, pressure ulcers, skin tears, bruises, edema, nerve impingement, falls,
discomfort, contractures, loss of independence and autonomy, social isolation, and decreased

quality of life. There is increasing concern that wheelchairs are being overused in nursing

homes. This growing trend can be curtailed by the development and implementation of a

program to assess mobility, encourage ambulation, and restrict unnecessary wheelchair use.

updated. Therefore, update your content regularly researching viewers’ data from Google

Search Console. And showcase your quality content that establishes the trust in the client.

Use paid search:

Paid service costly, but it is one of the most convenient and the most effective strategies to get

more and more lead. Also, this allows your business to reach more people into the buying

funnel.

Social media is the key:

For any reason, you don’t have the chance to ignore social media. Every one of your clients is

in social media. And it is direct and free. So why should you miss this great chance of getting

clients to enhance your social profile?

A glimpse of my suggestions are -

 Build a professional and user-friendly website

 Spend much time on social media accounts

 Gather a dedicated support team for 24x7 to handle clients’ every query

 Settle price as low as you can. Offer the client a flexible payment

 If possible create portal for purchasing the product so that the client can make payment

hassle-free.
How to make your website ready?

Before starting your Convertible Wheelchair business, you should consider — competition,

capital, and service.

It would help if you understood there is much competition, and you have to stand with a stance

with your website.

Later, in the present market condition, the capital required for online businesses is enormous.

It would help if you had a domain, which generally costs Rs.1000 per year.

And, consider showing your viewers how you can offer a better innovation on the product —

with better surroundings focusing your business.

Make sure that your website makes your customers extremely pleasing with providing what

they want from a site. The first impression is the best, so never miss this chance. To get the

best opportunity, you get to convince your viewers to get your services.

At The End:

I should tell that send some time on business research, create a website, do digital marketing.

After some months, you will get the most ROI by creating an efficient inbound marketing
program. Always remember building a company is not an easy process and doesn’t get upset if

the result is not satisfactory.

The current paper provides quantitative and qualitative data concerning the application of two

virtual environments to the assessment and training of inexperienced powered wheelchair

users, both in terms of the ability to control the chair accurately without hitting objects in the

environment (manoeuvrability) and in terms of being able to find ones way around a complex

environment without becoming lost (route-finding). Method : Six novice powered wheelchair

users participated in the project, completing either the manoeuvrability or route finding

components of the study. Performance measures were taken in real life pre and post training

and throughout virtual reality sessions. Participants also completed a questionnaire regarding

the aesthetics of the virtual environments and aspects of the powered wheelchair simulation.

Results : The participants rated the aesthetics of the virtual environments positively and

engaged well with the virtual system. However, they found the manoeuvrability tasks

considerably more difficult in virtual reality (VR) than in real life.

*LEARNING OUTCOMES*

 When I preparing a mini project I learned how to use the MS word and

as well as I Iearnt to use a lot of new tools in which I did not know

about.

 Through the mini project report I searched deeply about my service, in

which I had to go in about journals and research papers and I read.

 Learn about what is the obstacle in making a report as well as how to

remove an obstacle.

 Learn about which terms and conditions are there in making a report

and learn to prepare your report based on those terms and conditions.

 From this report I learned that I should innovate something from my

product and service, which will prove useful for our society.

 From this report I also learned how to manage my own product and

service price for the customers and as well as for the manufacture.
After researching on the product I came to know that a large number of people are there who

are experiencing this problem which need to be resolved as quickly as possible.

These guidelines focus on manual wheelchairs and the needs of long-term users. Some of the

recommendations in the guidelines, however, are equally applicable to other types of mobility

aid or device (such as hand-powered tricycles) and for other types of user (such as temporary

users). In these guidelines, “wheelchair” means “appropriate manual wheelchair” unless

otherwise indicated. The guidelines have been developed for use in less-resourced settings.

This document is not a wheelchair manual. The scope is limited to addressing key areas – not

all aspects – of wheelchair provision, focusing on the design, production and distribution of

wheelchairs, wheelchair services, and training of related personnel. The recommendations are

not intended to be comprehensive or prescriptive. Flexibility is required, owing to the many

different contexts in which they may be applied and implemented.
