Document 1

This document provides an introduction to a study about the electrical tools and equipment needed by electrical installation and maintenance (EIM) students and the impact on their performance. The study aims to determine the academic performance levels of EIM students, identify what equipment is lacking, examine factors affecting skill acquisition, and assess the relationship between performance and skills. It involved distributing questionnaires to 30 EIM students. The scope is limited to the EIM strand at one high school. Having the proper tools and equipment could help students improve their skills and prepare for future jobs.

INTRODUCTION

In this study the input as shown what are the different specific tools and equipment to be
needed in all electrical installation and maintenance students, what would be the effect of this
conflict to the performance of electrical installation and maintenance students
And this includes the processes that were conducted in the pursuit of this study by distributing
questionnaires to electrical installation and maintenance students to know to know their practical
performance and proficiency in the wiring installation. Electric wiring is an electrical installation
of cabling and associated devices such as switches, distribution boards, sockets and light
fittings in a structure. In this study it refers to the practical or actual performance of TVL EIM
students. A facility composed of one or more pieces of equipment connected to or part of a
structure and designed to provide a service such as heat or electricity or water sewage disposal:
“the price of the house included all utilities”. In this study it refers to a room that all the electrical
tools and equipment's are there, and also it is the place that we perform out actual wiring
installation equipment, which can be used to supplement or complement the students efforts in
ensuring effective learning their skills.
The specific electrical tools and equipment needed by the grade 12 TVL EIM students and the
school need to provide enough tools and equipment for the students and the importance of it to
have a higher proficiency level in academic and actual performance. It also discusses why some
of the EIM students didn’t finish their actual activity and the result is a low proficiency level.
This study aimsThe research process that this study utilized is shown in Figure 1. The design
shows the Profile and proficiency of the research subject, variable involved, and the result of the
Study.
Input - Different specific electrical tools and equipment to be needed on electrical installation
and maintenance student in Senior High School 1
-Effects of availability of electrical tools and equipment to the performance of the student
Process - Distributing a questionnaire to 30 students.

Statement of the problem

1. How many levels of academic performance of the students be described?

2. What is the lack of equipment at EIM?

3. What factors are affecting the skill acquisition by students?

4. Is there a significant relationship between academic performance and

skills acquired by the students?

5. what are implications of the study to EIM?

Scope, Limitation and Delimitation

This study highlights the level of electrical skills of Technical

Teacher's Education major in Electrical Instillation and Senior High School of Benignos Aquino National
High School Further, the researchers delimited the domains of Electrical Installation and

Maintenance strand. It did not include to the other strand since the skills to be

assessed are specialized in Electrical Installation and Maintenance. The study

was based only on the responses of the respondents, thus, their honesty in

answering affected the result.

Significance of the Study

The study focused on level of electrical skill of Electrical Installation Maintenance

students. Through this study, the following would benefit:

To the students,

it would help them to enhance their electrical skills so, they can

be prepared for their future job after graduation.

To the teachers,

it would help them to know the level of the skills of them

students so they can think a technique to improve the skills and help the students

to improve themselves.

To the parents,

it would help them to guide their children in terms of improving

their skills in electrical so they can help to find a job that suits them.

To the future researchers,

it would help them to have information about the

level of electrical skills of the students, so it would help them in terms of

information that the study would provide.

Definition of terms

To better understand the study,

the following terms were defined conceptually and operationally Academic Performance. Conceptually,
this refers to the extent to which a student, teacher or institution has achieved their short- or long-term
educational goals, commutative SPA and completion of educational benchmark such as secondary
schools' diplomas and bachelor's degrees represented academic achievement. Operationally, this refers
to the grades of the students in EIM subject. Electrical. Conceptually, this refers to devices, materials,
tools, and the things that related to

Electricity.

Electricity is an energy that flow into the wires and going to the load

to work. Electricity can conduct a heat to while performing to and need a good

bind from source to load to work.

Operationally, this study was utilize the electrical skills to determine the level of

the student’ s skills in Electrical Installation Maintenance.

Skill.

Conceptually, this refers to the ability to do something well: expertise

(difficult work, taking great skill), a particular ability; the ability to one's knowledge

effectively and readily in execution or performance.

Operationally, refers to the acquired competencies of the students in Electrical

Installation Maintenance

Operationally, this this refers to the major subject of Electrical Installation

Maintenance students were acquired skills, academic performance, and factors

affecting skills acquisition would be visual, deep understanding, and mostly the

actual performing or hands-on activities to know what Electrical Installation

Maintenance is for. In addition, for major tutor like teachers and professors will

take an advantage while teaching to their learners.
