“The Habits of Hobbits”

Who can read the story loud infront?

Okay Micheal read it loud and clear.

The habits of Hobbits

A long time ago, there lived two poor

hobbit brothers named Bibo and Dabi
who cared for each other very much.
Bibo is taller than Dabi, but Dabi is
stronger than his eldest brother.

One day, it was harvest season Bibo

and Dabi both harvested rice for their
families. Bibo, was worried about his
little brother Dabi because he might
run out of rice but then Dabi is
strong, and can carry more sacks.
Bibo still helps his little brother
behind so he secretly carries a sack of
rice to the night and left in front of
his little brother’s house.

The same day, Dabi also carried a

sack of rice and put it in front of
Babi’s house. Thinking that his older
brother might need more due to his
big family. When they woke up the
next day, they both noticed that they
still had the same amount of rice as
before.
The two brothers thought it was Pupils: Yes teacher!

night and left a sack of rice in front of

Adjectives modify, or describe,

nouns.

ITALICS.

An adjective often comes

BEFORE a noun:

 a green car
 a dark sky
 an interesting story

And sometimes an adjective

comes AFTER a verb:

 My car is green.
 The sky became dark.
 His story seemed interesting.

Adjective Form

Some adjectives have particular

endings, for example:

 -able/-ible: washable,
credible
 -ish/-like: childish, childlike
 -ful/-less: careful, careless
 -ous: dangerous, harmonious
 -y: dirty, pretty
