Technology has made communicating with relatives abroad and discussing projects online much faster and easier. Before technology, people had to use phones and write letters to stay in touch with overseas relatives, and students discussing projects had to meet in person. Now, people can use Facebook, messenger, video calls, and social media to quickly communicate with family members abroad or discuss projects online without needing to meet in person. Technology has also made submitting written reports, attending meetings and forums, and making announcements much simpler. Students can now easily research and submit reports online, and announcements can be made on social media instead of needing to gather people together in the same location.

ACTIVITY 2 : PURPOSIVE COMMUNICATION

COMMUNICATION WITH YOUR RELATIVES ABROAD


Before, In able to have a communication to our relatives in abroad we used old phones and wrote letters to our
relatives who lived overseas in order to stay in touch with them and our families.

Now that there is technology, it is faster to communicate with the family by using Facebook and messenger
because by using it you can quickly bring your picture and you can call quickly thru phone call or video
calls.

DISCUSSION OF YOUR PROJECT ONLINE


Before, when they needed to talk about the project, after their classes they would gather in one place and
make a plan to have a clear conversation, they discussed the things they needed to do and to have good
results in their task.

by technology many students use social media for discussing their project online. sometimes they don't
need to get together and make a plan because they may use a video call or a messenger to communicate.
SUBMISSION OF WRITTEN REPORTS
Submission of written reports In able to make a written report, many students go to
library to do a research, they read a different type of books, they make a written report.
they read books by hand so that they can write a written report. And they write it down on
paper and then they can submit it to their professors.

Now, when you do a written report, it's easy to do that, because you can Google it if you
can understand your topic in your written report and you can also use USB and SD cards
to forward your report

MEETING OR FORUMS
They assemble a group of people in the same location to discuss a meeting. At that
point, they only use a microphone as a tool for people to understand what they're talking
about.

Because of the technology, when you need to announce that you have the meetings or
forums, you can announce it in any social media using Facebook, messenger you can
easily send them what you want to discuss
ANNOUNCEMENTS
In the past, before making an announcement, people would meet in the same place to
understand and clarify what they wanted to convey.

now with technology it's quick to announce what you have to say, you can use different
social media platforms to share what you want to say

Ethnicity can affect communication because we have different races, cultures and languages that we use in
our daily lives. Because if you are from a different culture, you will not understand what you have to
convey.
2. Why Gender Affects Communication?
Gender can affect communication because each individual has different principles in life, different beliefs
and behaviors. Women and men are different in a lot of ways, they're different in how they communicate
that women are emotional than men.
3. How technology affects the communication around the globe?
Communication is now a possible with the help of wireless technology. We can communicate with people
anywhere in the world through technology. And we can easily communicate with people even if our time is
opposite that was because of the advanced technology today.
4. Is technology helpful in making communication easy as wanted to be?
For me, yes, technology is really useful for communicating. Thanks to technology, we make our lives
easier. We can communicate with our family and friends with the help of a technology.
5. Are you affected by the convenience of communication through the help of
technology? Defend your answer.
Yes, of course, we are making our lives easier and more convenient as a result of today's technology. From
my experiences, when I want to ask my teacher and my classmate what I didn't understand in class. I can
ask them with the help of a messenger, I send a message to my class mate during our group conversation.
