World Trade Organizations (WTO) is trying to eliminate tariffs wall for free trade. All these changes and trends have increased the significance of import and export. Developing countries like Pakistan who are already facing trade deficit have great scope for import and exports. Export oriented organizations need skilled people equipped with knowledge of import/export procedure and documentation Certificate in Import / Export documentation is a job-oriented course. It is aimed at providing office workers, possessing knowledge of international trade procedures and will enable a large number of young people to get a job in which they will have a great chance to excel. 15 days attachment at the Dry Port has also been included which will help the student to understand the environment of business and working of Pakistan Customs related to Import / Export / baggage clearances. Knowledge of intemational trade procedure will also be helpful in being self- employed. International trade business can be started with relevant knowledge and nominal capital. This will reduce problem of un-employment as well as increase the foreign exchange earnings. CURRICULUM SALIEN’ Name of Course Customs Clearance and Procedures Min.
