Course Name PE 3 – Individual and Dual Sports
Course Credit 3 units
Course Description This subject encompasses the study of the history, terminology, fundamental skills, playing strategies, and simplified rules of
selected individual and dual sports to include, but may not be limited to, badminton, table tennis, athletics, darts and chess.
Activities include actual games and inter-class competitions.

Course Outcomes At the end of the course, the students are expected to:
1. discuss the history, fundamental skills, and simplified rules of athletics, table tennis, badminton, dart and chess;
2. correctly execute and demonstrate the basic skills necessary in playing the selected individual and dual sports;
3. participate actively in activities and actual game competitions;
4. display adequate skills on the selected individual and dual sports; and,
5. demonstrate improved level of fitness and playing skills.

3. Everyone must observe professional behavior and civil discourse throughout class time. Leaving the room other than to attend

4. Furthermore, cellphones and other gadgets have to be in silent mode to discourage their use during class hours except when
they are used as an educational tool.
