Aim of the experiment: The goal of the lab experiment that we are about to do, is to find the
relationship of the applied force and Acceleration.
Hypothesis: The applied force has a direct relationship to the Accerlation of the object.
Variables:
- Applied Force (Independent Value.)
Justification: The mass can be controlled of the car as it depends what car we actually choose that is the
justification.
Justification: The Distance the object travels is a control value as you can set however much you want
your car to travel depending on the side of the stick.
Materials / Apparatus:
-Stopwatch
-Weighing Scale.
-Ruler / Scale.
-Plastic Car.
-Wood Plank.
-String.
-Pulley.
Procedure:
-Measure the plank that you will use with some scale and take the distance of it going down.
-With Wooden plank and actually hold it with a fixed angle of 45 Degrees.
-Get your string and attach it to your car and attach to your weights.
-Make it so the toy car is on one side and your weighing item is on the other side with your
string.
-Stop the watch as as the car reaches the other side and note down the time.
