Oracle Database

Oracle, a company, is the organization that is responsible for the delivery of the

operations that have been made available by the Oracle. It is renowned for having a multi-model

system and is recognized as being one of the most prominent databases management systems that

have been desired by corporate organizations all over the world. Moreover, it has been

recognized as having this feature. Businesses are provided with the usage of this specific

technology to assist operations such as data warehousing et online transactions. In addition, the

Oracle database provides a wide range of benefits, such as increased security, scalability, and

other similar features.

The needs of the general public that call for the maintenance of a database management

system may be facilitated via the use of a version of the Oracle database that is both

straightforward and free. On the other hand, it could not be a successful strategy for companies

like this one who are trying to maintain a technical advantage over their rivals in order to remain

ahead of the competition. Oracle Database provides a wide range of features, each of which may

either be obtained directly there in paid version or obtained as extra features by paying additional

fees. These features can be gained either directly or indirectly. Therefore, it will be beneficial for

the executives to do an analysis of the expenses that are linked with the different elements, as

this will allow them to make an informed choice about whether to choose this database or some

other database that meets their expectations regarding cost.

Since the organization has determined that storage is one of its most important needs, this

aspect of the business is evaluated in order to provide the company's leaders with an important

piece of information. Oracle database compete with a range of features that are provided by

AWS, and when it comes to pricing, Oracle database is often in a better position to win.
(Ravikumar et al., 2017) For instance, the Oracle database provides customers with a storage

space of around 51 terabytes for a cost that is lower than 7 dollars. On the other hand, Amazon

Web Services (AWS) offers storage space equal to sixty terabytes for a price that is close to 11

dollars. Even while Amazon Web Services (AWS) provides a large amount of storage space for

free, the costs associated with using the Oracle database are much cheaper.

Data transmission is another significant element that plays a role in the overall price of

the database systems that the organization intends to make use of in the future. Therefore, it is

necessary to do an analysis to establish whether or not the Oracle database is efficient

financially. Due to the higher usage of the transmission capabilities, the Oracle database does not

result in an increase in cost despite having a monthly cost of 918 dollars. On the other side, the

cost for the same service may be monstrously expensive when using AWS, and additional fees

are also attached to the same if the level of service use is increased. (Mustafa & Lockard, 2019)

In addition to keeping expenses under control, the Oracle database appears to surpass

expectations by significantly cutting down on the amount of delay that is experienced. Since the

business needs a high degree of technical support for the operation of the any database

management system, it would seem that the Oracle database is the most suitable option for the

business. (Bach, 2013) Businesses that are trying to add value to its technical tasks would do

well to consider the Oracle database as an option. This is because many databases provide

services that are generally comparable to one another but come at a greater cost.
