One of the main health problems of the world current society is about the many diseases
caused by owerweight and the rigorous diets as an alternative in its treatment. Previously,
the traditional diets had in common that the patients may include fat as minimum as
possible in their food, or even avoid it at all because of the idea of a negative impact on
health. Over time, this idea was changing in the opinions of food health experts. Now on
days, there are many different diets which put healthy fats as the main factor to gain health
from a different way. Actually, this kind of diets (Keto diet or Low Carb) are used as helper in
the treatment of many diseases. This essay shows the benefits of the ketogenic diet and the
consumption of healthy fats in the suffering of different diseases.
Ketogenic / low carb diet have been used in the treatment of diseases like diabetes,
nonalcoholic fatty liver disease, polycystic ovary syndrome, narcolepsy, epilepsy, and
others.( 1 Annals of Nutrition and Metabolysm) . In diabetes patients a Lower dietary
carbohydrate intake can help ericate large spikes of sugar in blood, reducing the need for
