ACTION PLAN AND IMPLENTATION

Changes Happens in the Hype of Pandemic

A. IDENTIFY AND EXPLAIN

I. INEFFECTIVE TIME MANAGEMENT

We all know that Time Management is important in our daily lives,
research also proven that a successful time management is associated with
greater academic performance and lower levels of anxiety in students. Time
management is a great helpful for us teachers but due to many hindrances that
always happening in our daily teaching, a schedule for day may become messy.
Like for example loss of internet connection or slow internet connection and
unscheduled power interruption, due to this lot of work may get a little messy
for a day especially now during pandemic most of the time we relay online.

II. LACK OF COMMUNICATION (HOME)

When it comes in our home, due to the WORK FROM HOME set up
we are lacking of communication to our members of the family. In our present
situation, we teachers need more to be hands-on in delivering our lessons to our
dear students. Lot of study have been made during this pandemic and it saying
that not just our students have been adjusting and having hard time in coping in
the distance learning. We teachers are having a hard in coping in everyday
teaching. During face to face it was hard enough to get the attention of the
learners longer what more now that we are doing distance learning. We need to
make extra effort to deliver the lesson in our best, it causes us more work to do.
Since we are doing Work From Home, most of time we are just facing at our
monitor and during our free time we tend to rest or just do another work and
because of this time to our family has been reduces.

III. DELAY OF FEEDBACK

Giving feedback to students is a very important, it is a meaningful part
of a teacher to student giving feedback. When feedback is delayed by additional
days or weeks because of an online format, students can become confused or
uncertain about your expectations, their progress, and their performance in your
class. Real time feedback is essential especially during distance learning not just
for us teachers but for our learners for them to monitor always their progress.
They should have a real time feedback so that they can easily find where they
are wrong and correct on their activities that they submitted.

IV. MISUNDERSTANDING IN GIVING INSTRUCTIONS

Misunderstanding is not only a problem during distance learning, it is
also a problem during face-to-face classes. Study says misunderstanding
happens in a classroom management because of students are being fear to ask
from their teachers. Giving instructions is always a crucial part for as teachers
especially when our students are not asking any questions regarding to our
instruction. You cannot tell if they understand it or not.

V. LACK OF PHYSICAL ACTIVITY

Physical Activity is the most problems among the five that I’ve mention.
As the doing the research, many people have been compromised in doing some
physical activity. As we all know, a long quarantine happened, many fitness
studios been closed. Many people lost jobs during the pandemic and we are all
in a quarantine set-up all we have to do is to eat and rest. As result many gained
weight because of this even lots of a celebrities. But as we continue to face
pandemic people been adopting in home exercising but as they adopting, lots of
work been loaded to them. Many companies and even schools lay off some of
their employee. For our students, they become focus in academic, activities, and
module, they relief their stress thru online games and social media, they forget
to do exercise. Based of the study, a person can work effectively is he/she
physically fit.

B. GOAL
• Provide a blended learning not only thru online learning, include modular
learning.
• Ensure the quality of education given to our students.
• Few but meaningful learning assessment to our dear students that caters all
the important domain and objective.
• Emphasizing standards and expectation in every instruction for each task or
activity.
• To have a harmonious community between the parents, students, and
teachers, so that they can help to monitor the students in their learning
progress.
• Stick and be strict to a given deadline.

C. PLANNED STRATEGIES

CREATE A CHECKLIST OR A SYSTEMATICAL TIMEFRAME FOR

STUDENTS AND TEACHERS
It should be compulsory for teachers, where in it includes the everyday
schedule of a teacher and including the unexpected power interruption and
sudden lost of connection. By this the schedule of a teacher is well organized,
if a teacher has an online class, do not put it in just one day. For our students,
the adviser shall a provide a timeline or timeframe for their schedule, its up for
the students if they follow it

IMPLEMENTATION OF TIMEFRAME
Because of the implementation of the timeframe a teacher may have lot
of free time because of this, can monitor their own pace now. Even if it is a
Work From Home set up a teacher should follow the working hours that is
implemented in their respected schools. When it comes to students, if they
follow the given timeframe to them, they will manage their module and online
class easily.
UTILIZING THE TECHNOLOGY INTEGRATION
Just because communication occurs over the internet doesn’t mean it has
to be lagged or asynchronous. In fact, there are countless tools — many of them
free to use — to help students and teachers communicate in real-time. For
example, you can use video conferencing software to have live conversations
with your students, either one-on-one or in group settings. This gives your
students a chance to ask you questions, raise concerns, and work through
complex course material more successfully. In addition to video conferencing
software, you can also use instant messaging apps for students who prefer to
communicate via text. Examples include Skype, Google Meet, FaceTime,
Zoom, and Google Hangouts.
EMPHASZING STANDARDS AND EXPECTATIONS
To avoid misunderstand in giving instruction to a certain activity, make
sure and make it clear your standards and expectations in each activity, so that
students know how to create their activity easily. Make sure that you’ve given
the objective of the activity always and highlight your rubrics in giving
instructions.

D. ACTUAL OUTPUTS
1. Implementation of timeframe wherein it includes teachers’ schedule.
2. Orientation regarding in using online platforms to parents and students.
3. Weekly kumustahan to students regarding their progress in school. It
should be set during Friday and it will call FUN DAY, where in they
may also have mini activity and conduct online weekly exercise to make
sure that they are physically active and healthy.
4. Monthly kumustahan with the parents, to know if they have any
difficulty in doing distance learning.
5. Weekly checking of the task or assessment of the students.

E. OUTCOMES
We are now in a digital world; learning can be found easily. Students
now a days are very lucky because they both have the modern world and a
globally competitive teacher. One challenge comes from the changing
perceptions of what learning is all about. The second challenge comes from new
learning opportunities that technology now affords. Constructivism,
interpretivism, and computing technology, separately and often together, have
redesigned the conception of the challenges and opportunities of learning, and
brought about new learning possibilities for almost all teaching and learning
situations, including traditional classroom teaching, distance learning, and self-
learning. Computer-supported learning environments could have good
problems that will stimulate students to explore and reflect on their knowledge
construction. Distance learning-based programs could increase access for
students to online information, whereas open and distance-learning programs
may be difficult to implement in the laboratory sciences, but they have real
potential to maximize the use of technology. We should accept and adopt the
changing happens in our education.

F. REFLECTION

We all know that when pandemic happens, everything around us stop

spinning and when it resumes to spin everything changes, especially in our
education. It takes us months before we got back on track again. Despite all of
this, lot of students cannot make it to back on schooling, that’s why there is a
lot of people seeking for academic freeze but it didn’t stop us to deliver quality
of education to our learners.
If students and parents are struggling in adopting online learning, what
more, we teachers. We’ve been creating modules, attending webinar, buy
laptop, to get wifi connection, give extra effort, study new sets pf strategies in
delivering lessons. A lot happen, but we have nothing to do but to adopt and
hug what is right in front of us.
We are now in the 21st century learning whereas distance learning should
be one of the choices. Even before pandemic happens lot of country around the
world are already implementing online learning, maybe it is also the time for us
filipinos to adopt in the new learning. It may be hard in the beginning but I
believe that we can also have a successful online learning, which is happening
now.
Students, parents, and teachers are adjusting and know how to handle
the situation very well. Face to face is much effective but we are still in middle
of pandemic. We should look at the bright side of this situation if why is it
happening. Look we’ve been this far because we are trying, we can make it till
the face to face back, when it comes, I hope we have a better learning. We don’t
want the new normal, but remember the old normal is the reason why we have
a new normal, hoping in the future that we may have a better normal.
