Create an evaluation table for the website. It should include the guidelines, website rating
based on the guideline (Note: 10 is the highest rating and 1 is the lowest), and remarks to
indicate the reason for your rating. You can customize the design of your table.

After filling out the table, write an essay with at least five (5) sentences explaining why you
selected that specific set of guidelines to evaluate the website. (15 points)

 We are on modern technologies, most of the people are now using technologies.
Sometimes, the guidelines can even conflict with each other, which requires prioritizing
on the part of designer. The Website must be a user-friendly so users will not be
confused. Functions and navigation must in accessible and the design website must be
not painless to the eye of user. Website Information should also not be messy so the
user will not annoy.
Answer the following questions. Use at least five (5) sentences. (15 points each)
a. If you were going to develop an emergency mobile application, what HCI criteria and
category would you use as a guideline in the design and development of the
application? Why?

 Platform/System Setup Criteria and Mobile category, most of the people are using now
a cellular phone, it is easy to handle and if you are in emergency incident it is easily to
use because it is user-friendly.

b. If you were assigned to design and develop the interface of a learning management
system for a university, what HCI criteria and category would you use as a guideline in
the design and development of the application? Why?

 User Type Criteria and Information category because you will be able to know what type
of user the design of your interface will be.

c. If you were developing the interactive interface of a video editing tool, what HCI
criteria and category would you use as a guideline in the design and development of
the application? Why?

 Application Criteria, design/editing category because this guideline is restricted only for
editors
