Analysis and Interpretation:

Based on the gathered data, 8 out of 43 or 18.60% of 7-ALEXANDRITE students who
took the test in P.E 7 during the last day of the of Regional Diagnostic Assessment (RDA)
achieved the Minimum Level of Proficiency (MPL) while 35 out of 43 or 81.40% of students
did not reach the MPL for the subject area of P.E 7.
Minimum Level of Proficiency or MPL is 60% of the total number of test items. In the
learning area of P.E 7, the total number of test items is 15. This means that in order to exceed the
MPL in P.E 7 students shall get a score of at least 9.
This assessment also identified the least learned competencies that are relative to the
current grade level of the learners. These least learned competencies are already considered
learning gaps that need to be addressed to concretize learning. This will pave the way to
developing and formulating adaptive measures which include but not limited to remedial
sessions, individualized/differentiated instructions and other possible and feasible learning
interventions that are suited to the needs of the learners.
On the other hand, the assessment also unleashed the most learned competencies among
the students. These competencies that they have already mastered can also be used in bridging
the identified learning gaps.
Finally, it is indeed fair to state that, the results of the assessment were adversely affected
by the pandemic as it prevented and halted both teachers and learners in engaging fully and
effectively in teaching and learning process for more than two years since March 2020.
