WLP Science-3 Q1 W2

The weekly learning plan is for Grade 3 students in Science class. Over the course of the week, students will learn to classify objects and materials as solids, liquids, or gases based on observable characteristics. Each day focuses on a different aspect of classification: identifying solids by their color, size, shape and texture; liquids by their ability to flow and how they occupy space; and gases by their observable properties. Students will practice classifying examples, discuss concepts, and complete home-based learning tasks and evaluations to reinforce and assess their understanding.
