EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 16 - A

Series of 2020

AN ORDER PROVIDING ADDITIONAL PROVISION UNDER SECTION 1.B OF EXECUTIVE

ORDER NO. 16 SERIES OF 2020

WHEREAS, through Executive Order No. 16, Series of 2020, which I signed on September
18, 2020, guidelines and protocols to be observed in the upcoming town fiesta of the
Municipality of Argao was established;

WHEREAS, Argao is a multi-faith municipality where religions with different rituals and
teachings play an important aspect of the lives of the religious members;

WHEREAS, to recognize the religious and spiritual needs of the different religious
communities and cognizant to the need for the fluidity of implementing the clustering and
color-coding within the municipality as a precautionary guideline during the celebration of
the town’s annual fiesta;

NOW, THEREFORE, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law and consonant with my
previous executive order, I, ALLAN M. SESALDO, do hereby order that members of various
religious organizations shall be exempted from clustering and color-coding from September
26-29, 2020 under Section 1.b of Executive Order No. 16, to wit:

● Members of the different religions who will attend their church/religious service
and activities from September 26 – 29, 2020 shall be allowed to pass through the
different barangay borders;

● Church or religious leaders must issue certifications to their members. The names of
the members, date, time, and location where the religious service and activities will
be held must be specified. These certifications must be presented at checkpoints in
order for them to pass through the borders.

● Roaming around, loitering, wandering, and meandering in public places and in other
barangays after attending church service and activities is strictly prohibited.
