The Bays Huatulco Bays are located on the coast of Oaxaca, in the final part of the SierraMadre del

Sur. Covering 35 km of the Mexican Pacific Coast, between the rivers ofCoyula and Copalita. Located 277 km from the capital of Oaxaca and 50 minutes fromMexico City by plane, also it has access routes by land and sea.Huatulco has 9 bays, 36 beaches and is strung out along 35 kilometers of coastline. The population is just 18,000, but the region receives an average of 3,400 tourists daily; placing great pressure on the natural and social environment. Located in down of La Crucecita, is a tourist development in Mexico.You can find a wide variety of accommodations from rooms for rent, small economy hotels, luxury oceanfront villas, vacation condominiums, bed and breakfasts, along with several luxury resorts standing on or near the shores of Tangolunda Bay. The Camino Real Zaashila, Quinta Real Huatulco, Las Brisas, Dreams Resort & Spa (Formerly the Gala hotel) and the Barcel are examples of the most popular larger resorts in the area. Heading east from Santa Cruz are the bays of Chahu,Tangolunda and Conejos. These are the more developed areas of Huatulco. To the west of Santa Cruz, the beaches are less developed; in fact most of this area belongs to the ParqueNacional (National Park) Huatulco. This is a protected area (rea Natural Protegida) created in 1998. It contains 6,375 hectares of lowland jungle and 5,516 hectares of marine areas, encompassing the bays ofMaguey,rgano,Cacaluta, Chachacualand San Agustn.

In these bays live the most important coral communities of the Mexican Pacific. 723 species of animals live in the park as well as a number of species of colorful fish, and it is open to scuba diving, bird-watching and hiking. Recently the destination obtained the Earth Check Gold Certification, so becoming the first tourist destination in the world to receive this credit for their standards in habitat conservation, energy, water, solid waste, renewable energy, wastewater treatment plants, touristic industry, biodiversity and species conservation natural. Huatulco is a quiet place, ideal for rest and relaxation, and it offers visitors a direct contactwith nature. If we add that there are 365 sunny days and only 40 with rain, what do you expectto enjoy the best vacation of your life? If you want to be quiet in an unspoilt beach of Huatulco I recommend you go to the dock and rent a boat and tell him to take you to the beach "India" or "Chachacual" are two really beautiful and secluded beaches, as they can only arriving by sea, especially if you're with your partner. Well apart from the wings and bays to the surroundings you must visit the coffee farm La Gloria or the magical waterfalls Copalitilla. Nearby, at 40 km to the west along the coast you can visit the nudist beach of Zipoliteand the Centro Mexicano de la Tortuga in Mazunte community.
