Important Remarks:1. Please inform Shipco Transport in advance if the cargo is classified as dangerous,
foodstuff, personal effects, over 580 cm length/pkg, over 500kgs/pkg, over 7000kgs per HBL or required
special treatments which are limited for sea/air transportation.In case you (and your relevant parties) fail
to declare with Shipco Transport before receipt of such cargoes, extra charges arising will be debited to
your account.
2. For European trade lane: Please provide Shipco Transport the HS code of export cargo at least two
(2) days before ETD.
3. For US/Canada trade lanes: No personal effects are accepted.
No veterinary or Phytosanitary shipments to Germany without our written consent and approval. Failing
to inform Shipco Transport Vietnam of any veterinary or Phytosanitary cargo at time of booking will
cause immediate fine of USD 3000.00.
4. Fumigation: Please make sure fumigation for the wooden products/pallets have been done at your
premise as per standard regulation. Shipco Transport must be informed at time of booking if cargo is
sensitive to and/or in need of fumigation. Extra charges arising due to the failure of declaration of
fumigation will be debited to your account.
5. If consignee refuses to collect cargo and to pay destination charges, all arising expenses and
destination charges due to abandon and/or to destroy cargo will be debited to shipper's account.
The Customer warrants and represents that the weight provided by Customer to Shipco is the true and accurate
weight of the cargo, including all packing materials (gross weight - GW) in accordance with the weighing
requirements of the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea ("SOLAS"), Chapter VI, Part A,
Regulation 2. The Customer warrants that Shipco can solely rely on the weight provided by Customer to
determine and provide to the underlying carrier the verified gross mass of the consolidated container in
compliance with SOLAS. If Customer has any reason to believe the weight is not accurate, Customer shall notify
Shipco immediately. Customer is responsible for any inaccuracies in or absence of the gross weight provided to
Shipco, and will indemnify and hold Shipco harmless from any and all claims, losses, penalties and/or costs
resulting from or in relation to such inaccuracies/absence. Absence of a GW will result in the cargo not being
shipped.
