 The Effects of Online Selling to Grade 12 ABM Students towards their

Academic Performances in Arellano University Juan Sumulong Campus.

Introduction

     The satisfaction of real-time online shopping with all of its features,

including observing product details, comparing prices, evaluating the quality

of the products, selecting the service type, and processing payments, has

been made possible by the internet. As they use cell phones, laptops,

tablets, computers, and other gadgets to gather information and interact

with their family and friends, many students and adolescents are integrating

social media into their daily life. Online sellers are expanding quickly these

days. Online selling is essential to the interaction between businesses and

their customers. Internet usage has reached billions of users worldwide as it

has truly become a global phenomenon. People with a wide range of tastes

and purposes are now using the internet to find information and make

purchases of goods and services, especially to the expanding and diverse

internet user base.  Students who work as internet sellers part-time have a

range of positive and bad outcomes. 

 
     Online selling has become a new trend of shopping nowadays and is

quickly becoming an important part of a lifestyle. Due to wide spread

internet access by grade 12 abm students and e-commerce usage of traders,

online selling has  seen massive growth in recent years. These generations

have been the majority shoppers online and thus the study finds out the

attitudes or the effects of this in teenagers towards online selling. Online

selling or e-selling is a form of electronic commerce which allows consumers

to directly buy goods or services from a seller over the Internet using a web

browser. Mobile commerce (or e-commerce) describes purchasing from an

online retailer's mobile optimized online site or app. This study is conducted

for the Marketing affect to gr.12 abm student  to have knowledge on how

they can understand the behavior of their future customers, if they plan to

have their own business or even work in an organization where they interact

to their customers through online but many students having a online selling

are affected their education. Online Selling improves their socialization and

communication skills. Online Selling as part time jobs make the student gain

experiences and knowledge about business. 

Other than that, online business can help Grade 12 abm students to start

their business since they can cut off their expenses in various fields including

promotion, human resource, management and other utility payment.


     As a result of the Internet and the quick advancement of technology,

more people are starting to make online purchases. Selling items and

products online is known as online selling. Because it is so convenient to

order anything online and have it delivered quickly to one's door during the

pandemic, online selling has become increasingly common in society.

Students are starting to become interested in online selling when online

retailing starts to spread and gain popularity. These students were born and

raised in a society that allows for simple easy access to the Internet and

technology. This chapter examines the role of technology in promoting the

online businesses of grade 12 students at Arellano University. It aims to

determine the usefulness of social media as a tool for promoting the online

businesses of all entrepreneurs, particularly in the current generation where

people rely on what they see on their social media accounts. Additionally,

social media is the simplest and least time-consuming way to market your

business. Teenagers, like these student online sellers, have also become

familiar with the online world, making them aware of the latest trends that

can draw in clients. These young online sellers have learned to develop

healthy and efficient strategies to boost their small online businesses at an

early age. With the benefits that the internet offers, more people have

begun to engage online. They only conduct business on the Internet, and by

utilizing their fingertips, they can make money. Additionally, since all
transactions will be made online, they won't have to spend time interacting

with customers face-to-face.

Background of the Study.

In this study, the researchers aims to provide information of The Effects of

Online Selling to Grade 12 ABM Students towards their Academic

Performances. With this study, it will talks about what struggles they have

been through when doing Online Selling at the same time, studying, causing

a problems towards their academic performances. Students who does Online

Selling finds it as a way of providing their needs, especially if they’re

financially unstable and needed to make money to pay for the bills.

Furthermore, students who works as Online Seller as their job has a

possibility to face a good and bad effects.
