Mental Health & Psychosocial Support Activities: For School Year 2022-2023

This document outlines mental health and psychosocial support activities for the 2022-2023 school year. It provides the legal basis requiring classroom advisers to devote the first hour of the first five school days to discussing psychosocial support. It then introduces and describes two activities: an energy check exercise called "Shake Shake Shake" and a feelings circle where students identify and graph their current feelings. The document suggests these activities help students identify and process their feelings to feel better.
