This rubric provides guidelines for students to create an annotated bibliography of articles related to their course topics. The annotated bibliography consists of references in APA format, 3-5 sentence syntheses of key ideas from each article, and 2-3 critical questions for further study. Students are evaluated based on the completeness of information provided and the acceptability of the information in properly synthesizing and critiquing at least three articles per topic. Ratings are on a scale of 1 to 4 to correspond with percentage scores to evaluate performance.
