2. Motivation “Give Me what I want with a Twist”

How to play:

1. Get what is the teacher describing


- Give me something soft and you used it when you sleep.
- Give me something hard, small, rough, and round with the
number 1 on it. We used it when we buy in the store.
- Give me something shiny, smooth, and hard. This is where we
put our food when we eat.
- Give me something long and soft. We used it after we take a
bath to dry our bodies.
- Give me something smells good inside your bathroom. We used
it to wash and clean our bodies, hands, and face.
- Give me something hard and thin. We used it to hand in our
clothes.

2. Present to the teacher.


3. Answer the question.
- What sense organ did you use to know that the object is soft,
hard, smooth, or rough? - HANDS

Ask: Do you know the four basic shapes and why they are called two-
dimensional figures?

“ 2D Shape Detective”

How to play:

Activity 1
1. Study the pictures.
2. Identify the 2D Shape.
3. Cut and paste the 2D objects/pictures to the correct shape.
Activity 2
1. Put all the flat objects inside the Box

2. Performing
the Activity To answer the 2D Shape Chart, the class
Differentiated will have another activity.
Instruction

“ SHAPE LEARNING STATION”

 The classes will be divided into 3 groups.


 Each group will be engaged in delivering the task required in each
station. Groups will be provided with materials that correspond to the
given tasks.
 The teacher will discuss mechanics in each group
 Each group must finish the given tasks after 5 minutes
 Each group must have one 1 reporter to explain their work.

Station One 1: “ Stick Shape”

 Pupils will make shapes with sticks and play dough or


marshmallows by following the pattern. 
The pupil will answer the card.

Station 2: “ Robot Shape ”

 Draw a Robot Shape and color them.


 Follow the color code.
Color all the square shapes RED,
color all triangle shapes GREEN,
color all rectangle shape BLUE
and all circle shapes YELLOW.
 Answer:

How many triangles ______
How many squares _______
How many rectangles? ______
Station 3: “ Space Discoveries ”

 Study the rocket


 Measure the length ( tall ) and width
( wide )
 Write your answer
 Choose 1 reporter to answer the chart.

Station 4: “ Secret Sentences ”

 Study the picture.


 Write each picture's beginning sound/
initial letter to decode the secret
sentence.
 Used proper periods, capital letters,
and spaces when you write the
sentence.
Draw a picture that matches the sentence

Ask Pupil: Where can we see these signs?

 These signs have different shapes. Tell the shape of the road sign.
 Now, as a kid What should we do if ever we see those signs in the
street?
 What will happen if we don’t follow the road signs?
 What are you going to do if you saw an old woman who is having
difficulty crossing the street?
5. “KAHOOT ”

Lesson will play Kahoot. An online quiz for
pupils.

How to play:
