BSCS (BS 5930) & AASHTO Soil Classification

This document summarizes soil classification test results from 14 borehole samples and 3 test pit samples collected from a proposed development site in Lusail, Qatar. The samples were classified using both the British Soil Classification System and AASHTO Soil Classification System. Based on the particle size distribution and Atterberg limits testing, the soils generally consisted of silty sands, sandy gravels, and silty gravels, and were classified mainly as A-1, A-2, and A-4 soil groups.
