Fortinet Engage partners who become Specialized are able to sell into and support environments that require security
solutions for SD-WAN, Data Center, Cloud, Security Operations, LAN Edge and SD-Branch, Zero Trust, and Operational
Technology. Because demo environments are an integral piece of selling and supporting these solutions, we made solution-
specific, not-for-resale (NFR) kits available to our Specialized partners, helping you demo the solutions and close deals
more quickly.

NFR KIT TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Specialized Partners: means Fortinet authorized Distributors and authorized Resellers (hereinafter referred jointly as “Partners”)
having a valid agreement in place with Fortinet, being compliant to their assigned partner level and holding at least, when
registering under this program, a valid Specialization pursuant to Fortinet’s then-current FortiPartner Program.
Policy Overview
Fortinet offers authorized and current Fortinet Specialized Partners a not-for-resale (NFR) demonstration equipment purchase
program which provides a special – recommended when applicable – discount to Specialized Partners on NFR Kits purchased
specifically and exclusively for demonstration purposes.
Purchase Restrictions
This program applies to the applicable Eligible Products and quantities only listed in this brochure. Unless otherwise specified in a
duly authorized and signed agreement between Fortinet and Fortinet Specialized Partners, the quantity restrictions to apply is one
(1) NFR Kit per Specialized Partner per Specialization per calendar year. For the avoidance of doubt, Specialized Partners which
hold different Specializations will be eligible to purchase the respective NFR Kits under the terms of this policy.
If Fortinet’s internal reporting and billing systems reveal that Specialized Partner’s usage of NFR Kits has exceeded the purchase
restrictions as set out above, Fortinet shall be entitled, without prejudice to any remedies available at law, to request the Specialized
Partner to place a purchase order for the difference between the then-current non-NFR Kit sale price and the NFR Kit sale price,
directly to Fortinet or with a Fortinet Authorized Distributor, as the case may be, for the excessive usage of the NFR Kits.
Which program discount apply?
For Discounts/Recommended Discounts as the case may be, please contact your local Fortinet Representative.
Please note that Recommended Discounts are calculated based upon the then-current Fortinet regional Price List applicable to the
Specialized Partner.
Additional NFR Kit Program Rules
Purchaser must be an authorized Fortinet Specialized Partner to purchase NFR Kits directly or through Fortinet channel.
All NFR Kit purchase requests that deviate from the ’Purchase Restrictions‘ set forth above will require additional prior and written
approvals by authorized representatives of Fortinet.
All purchases are final.
NFR Kits MUST be processed and sold as ’NFR Kit‘ when originally shipped from Fortinet or the authorized distributor. No
other NFR Kits qualify for complimentary services. Any NFR Kit not originally purchased as a ‘NFR Kit’ shall not later be
converted into a NFR Kit.
Fortinet reserves the right to amend, modify, suspend, cancel or terminate this program at any time without notice.
Partners may not combine this program with any other Fortinet offer or promotion but this program is cumulative with the local
Demo Program Policy when applicable.
All orders are subject to prior review and approval by Fortinet.
Fortinet reserves the right to audit or request additional information from the Specialized Partner to ensure the Specialized Partner’s
compliance with the terms and conditions of the NFR Kit program.
Fortinet reserves the right to terminate any Specialized Partner from participating in the NFR Kit program for any reason.
Support, Maintenance and Subscriptions
All NFR Kits include 24x7 FortiCare or 24x7 FortiCare and a suite of Bundle Subscription services for one (1) year at the time of
shipment from Fortinet to the local authorized distributor.
Any additional service or support contracts (not included in the NFR Kit) shall be purchased apart from this NFR Kit Program under
standard sales discount.
After the initial one (1) year of services, support renewals (‘Renewals’) shall be purchased apart from this NFR Kit Program under
standard discount through the regular distribution channel.
Renewals for NFR Kit fall under the Continuous Service. Quotations can be provided by your local Fortinet Sales Office.
Resale of NFR Kits
All NFR Kits purchased under the NFR Kit program shall not be resold by the Specialized Partner until twelve (12) months after the
original shipping date.
At the time of resale, and provided the twelve (12) month period from the original shipping date has elapsed, support, maintenance,
and subscription services (FortiCare and FortiGuard) must be purchased as regular renewals by the purchaser of the resold NFR Kit
and Continuous Service Policy applies unless otherwise agreed by Fortinet, at its discretion, on a case by case basis.
Fortinet reserves its right to modify any aspect of – or to withdraw in its entirety from – the NFR Kit Policy at any given time without
prior notice. The Specialized Partners shall not be entitled to claim any accrued rights with respect to the NFR Kit Policy to the
extent that said policy has been modified or terminated.
