concrete open drains around it to discharge the surface water. The open drain has a slope of
1:300, and they need to be designed for a 1 in 100 years event. The minimum width and depth
of the drain is 150mm and 200mm respectively. Take n=0.013 and time of concentration to be
10 minutes, find the size of Drains ABC, CD, DE,FC, and GD. Assuming there is no freeboard for
the drains.
