Portfolio Output No. 17: Reflections On Personal Relationships
Relationship is a connection between two people or groups is the way in which they feel and behave
towards each other. We often interpret relationship as something connected romantically or sexually
but relationship is not centered with this two. Relationship is our connection towards other people such
as to our family, friends, classmates and many more. There is no person that doesn’t have a relationship
with other people.
From the 16 years of my existence, I can say that I have build strong relationship with my family and
friends. Despite of this I continue to create new relationship towards to new people I interact. For me
my relationship with my friends and family are the most meaningful. They help me to become a person
that I am right now. Without my friends and family, I might loss my self to hardship I encountered. I am
thankful for having them through the ups and downs of my life.
Every relationship is unique, and people come together for many different reasons. I believed that
having respect to different beliefs and maintaining a meaningful emotional connection with each other
will help to keep my relationships flourishing.
Dear Mom,
It is true that I think that life is unfair. I often ask questions “why am I like this?”, “why can’t I be like
them?’. I envy people who is smart, talented and who can get everything they wanted because I am not.
Truthfully, I want to tell you everything, but you are always busy, or you just dismiss me with words that
will put me in more pressure that’s why I often keep my mouth shut and keep it to myself.
It’s true that I always try to please my friends because they listen to my rants and I’m very grateful
having them as my escape. You always try to compare your era to mine which are totally different. In
our house I have no proper place to study privacy as well and I understand so I always try my best to not
disturb you and dad because if I did you will be annoyed.
Truthfully, I am mentally unstable right now with all the pressure being passed to me and it’s sad that I
can’t rely on you. You always scold me for small mistakes I do so I’m scared to share my feelings to you
and especially to dad.
Everything you said in the letter about me is true and I admit it. I hope now that you understand my
action you can give my feeling consideration because I am not like my sisters who can do what they
want. I am chained on the things you wanted me to do because you raised me like that. It’s saddening
that during focusing on my studies I couldn’t know what I really want to do in the future and what
talents do I have. I have no time for myself. Peace is all I ask. I hope that I can have you as a shoulder
when things go hard.
Your daughter,
Katrina

Leadership is the ability of an individual or a group of individuals to influence and guide followers or
other members of an organization. Typically, leadership pertain to the growth as whole, it does not
focus on a single person but (the member and the leader). But there is a type of leadership we call
leadership; this leadership does not focus on the leader their self nor the whole group, but it focuses on
the members or the employee itself. Instead of focusing on the group or organization, they focus on
developing individuals who perform their best. Compared to traditional leadership where the employees
just need to comply their task in servant leadership makes the employees do above bare minimum that
will allow the organization to grow more.
Portfolio Output No. 23: Reactions to the Emotional, Social and Spiritual Legacy Evaluation
1.What were your scores in the emotional, social, and spiritual legacy evaluation?
It shows in terms of emotional and social legacy we have both good and bad elements; we have enough
interactions and emotional connection but not that much. On the other hand, we are weak in terms od
spirituality, praying can only be occasionally seen in our house and we don’t often talk about religious
things.
3. What is the legacy you have received from your parents and siblings?
I think that the legacy I received from them the most is social legacy because we know our boundaries
and respect each other.
4. How do you plan to give a legacy when you start your own family in the future?
I will start by reflecting from my experiences and the things that my parents have and shouldn’t have
done. By this I will be able to make our legacy stronger than before.
1. What have you learned in this unit about your personal relationships with family, friends, partner, and
organizations?
I learned that despite having my family as a support system, sometimes there are misunderstanding and
conflict occurring in our house. We also lack in spirituality that makes more vulnerable to problems.
With my friends I can say that they are someone I really can lean on and will help me to surpass my past
self.
I plan to interact more with them and understand their feelings that will help me to understand them
more and make our relationship stronger than before.
