Dear Ma’am,

Greetings of Peace!

The POPS Plan is a three-year term based plan of the Local Government Unit pursuant
to Section 116 of Republic Act No. 7160, or the “Local Government Code of 1991”, and
Executive No. 773, s. 2009, which calls for the further reorganization of the Peace and
Order Council, every province, city, and municipality is mandated to create a Peace and
Order Council (POC). The said plan consists of programs and activities on peace and
order and public safety to improve life in the communities by ensuring social protection
and safety in the locality.

Relative thereto, we would like to invite your representative to participate in the POPS
Planning Workshop for CY 2023-2025 on June 17-18, 2022 at London Beach,
General Santos City.

This workshop will be participated by all the members of the POPS Technical Working
Group. The following prescribed outline for POPS Planning will be used:

1. Review of Local Strategic Directions (Vision, Mision, and Goals)

2. Peace and Order and Public Safety Situation

3. Priority Peace and Order and Public Safety Challenges

4. Objectives, Strategies, Targets, Indicators and Baseline Data

5. Policies, Programs/ Projects, Services and Activities (P/P/P/S/A)

6. Funding Requirements
7. Implementation Arrangements (Officer Primarily Responsible for the Program/
Activity Implementation)

8. POPS Plan Monitoring and Evaluation

9. Communicating Results to the Public and

10. Annexes

Participants are advised to bring one (1) Laptop to be used during the workshops. To
