Foreword
To all users.
The concrete conveyor is designed for the delivery of concrete, sand or aggregates.
Read this instruction manual carefully. It is intended to help you over the entire life cycle of your machine.
Any new person working on a THEAM concrete conveyor, mechanic, driver, must be kept informed of the content of
this manual by the legal representative of the company, or of the site.
It is the responsibility of the user company to ensure this manual is distributed, read, understood, and that the instruc-
tions given are applied and followed. The manual, or a copy thereof, must be kept within easy reach of the user.
When reading the manual, pay special attention to the following symbols:
Useful information.
6/38
I - Safety
A - Operator
Equipment required for MMCC operation.
To guarantee safety when using the conveyor, the operator must wear regulatory Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):
Safety shoes
Comply with the regulations in force and the safety instructions applicable on work sites.
Avoid inappropriate items of clothing/jewellery (loose clothes, scarves, necklaces, bracelets, etc.) and untied long
hair.
7/38
B - Main safety rules
The user is in charge of all aspects related to safety when operating the machine.
The conveyor is used, deployed and folded with the vehicle stationary mode.
The user must always have full view of the entire machine while in use.
The user as well as all individuals present on site must position themselves outside the operating area of the conveyor.
The truck, mixer and conveyor assembly must be stable while in use.
If the original THEAM adhesive labels are damaged or worn, please replace them. Contact THEAM customer service.
Using the conveyor near a power line presents a risk of electric shock.
Fitting a power line detector is recommended.
Conveyors may be equipped with stabilizers, which must be used if such is the case.
The emergency stop on the radio remote control only works if it is switched on and connected.
The use of OEM THEAM spare parts is highly recommended to ensure the conveyor provides optimum performance
during its life time.

Beware of the handling of the vehicle: if the mixer is loaded, the effect of lateral oscillation may affect the stability of
the vehicle.
The movement of concrete during mixing induces a mass transfer from the back to the front and from right to left.
To prevent the vehicle from tipping over, it is recommended to drive with caution and to adapt your speed to the
weather and road conditions.

C - Delivery preparation
2. Check the delivery location, in particular the ground stability conditions, before positioning the vehicle for deliv-
ery:
- The ground should be flat and stable.
- No high voltage power lines nearby.
3. Position the vehicle so as to achieve optimum delivery range. Ensure there is good visibility around the vehicle
and identify all obstacles in the delivery area. Always make sure you have maximum visibility on the delivery area,
whatever the conditions (night, fog and blind spots).
4. Wear the appropriate personal protection equipment (PPE - see section I-A).
19/38
Delivery Driving Delivery Unfolding Delivery Cleaning Folding

5. Mark out the work area. In heavy traffic areas, pedestrian traffic shall be prohibited within the delivery area of
the conveyor.
6. Near power lines. Keep people and conveyor frames away from power lines by observing the following minimum
safe distances:
8 meters in wet weather
5 meters in dry weather
In case of contact with a power line, follow these recommendations:
- Do not touch any element and stay away from the conveyor and truck (8 meters at least).
- Stay on site and prevent anyone from touching or approaching the truck or conveyor.
- Call the police, emergency services (112, 999), electricity distribution services, and notify your company.

THEAM recommends the use of power line detectors and lighting in the work area.
No night work shall be carried out without sufficient lighting, and lighting fixtures shall be placed along the ax-
is of the work area.
Check for obstructions or high voltage power lines outside the illuminated area.
Never move the conveyor outside the illuminated area.
Drive with caution, move the conveyor very slowly and call upon an assistant for help.
The power line detectors mounted on conveyors and trucks do not detect DC currents, only AC currents. For more
details, please refer to the operating instructions of the associated equipment.
Even if conveyors are fitted with power line detectors, THEAM cannot be held responsible for accidents caused by
contact with HVA/HVB power lines.
The power line detector is a driving aid and not intended as a substitution for the driver's
checks and vigilance.
