REASONS FOR REFUSAL NRA v 1.0

You have applied for a visa to visit the UK.


In deciding whether you meet the requirements of Appendix V: of the Immigration Rules for
visitors (https://www.gov.uk/guidance/immigration-rules/immigration-rules-appendix-v-visitor-
rules), I have considered:
 your application and any additional relevant information you have provided with it
 your immigration history

The decision
I have refused your application for a visit visa because I am not satisfied that you meet the
requirements of paragraph(s) 4.2-10 of Appendix V: Immigration Rules for Visitors because:

 You state that you wish to visit the UK for 15 days for the purpose of visiting your
cousin. You have said that this visit will cost you £800.

 You have indicated that you are employed with an income of 213,426.78NGN
(£420.451 @ exchange rate of £1= 506.004NGN) per month and that you have
no other income or savings. I note that you have submitted a letter of
appointment to demonstrate this.

 To demonstrate your financial position and ability to fund this visit you have
submitted a bank statement in your name from Polaris bank account number
ending xxx2524 showing a closing balance of 1,757,,689.13NGN
(£3,462.65)which I acknowledge as your salary deposits.

 You state that the purpose of your trip to the UK is to visit your cousin and visit
sights. I note that you have submitted an invitation letter from your sponsor to
demonstrate this. However, the information provided does not demonstrate that
you have a personal relationship to your sponsor as stated.

 Furthermore, you state that you are married with 4 children and currently
living with your spouse. Attached is a marriage certificate and a family
picture without your spouse. In demonstrating your strong family ties in
Nigeria, I did not see anywhere in the picture where your husband featured
and this leaves me to doubt the credibility of your information or it
authenticity with regards to your status.

 I am also not satisfied that you have a personal relationship to your sponsor as
stated or your family status is as stated in your application. Your application is
therefore refused under paragraph V4.3 (a).

In relation to this decision, there is no right of appeal or right to administrative review.
