Anhidrotic ectodermal dysplasia is a condition in which there is abnormal

development of the ectodermal tissues, including skin, hair, teeth, and sweat
glands. People who have this kind of condition lose their ability to sweat due to
fewer sweat glands or because their sweat glands do not function well. Having this
condition will cause severe heat in their bodies, and even a mild illness can
produce an extremely high fever considering that their skin cannot release sweat
and they can't control the temperature properly. Furthermore, this condition has no
treatment, and the only thing to do is to minimize the heat they feel within their
bodies. Otherwise, this may lead to heatstroke and could be the reason for their
deaths.
