21. (i) Explain the working of a Colpitts oscillator with a neat circuit CO1 K5
diagram and derive the frequency of oscillation.---- (10)
(ii) In a Colpitt's oscillator, the value of the inductor and capacitors in
the tank circuit are L = 40 mH, C1 = 100 pF and C2 = 500 pF. Find
the frequency of oscillation.---- (4)

22. With necessary circuit diagrams and waveforms, explain the operation CO2 K2
of the following: (1) Positive clipper, (2) Negative clipper, (3) Biased
clipper,(4) Combinational (Two-way) clipper, and (5) Clamper Circuits.

23. With suitable schematic explain the working of an oscillator with the CO1 K3
feedback network consist of 3 RC. Also derive the frequency of
oscillation.

24. Analyse a tuned amplifier circuit which will have only one tank circuit CO3 K4
and derive expressions for gain and bandwidth.

25. Draw the circuit diagram of an instrumentation amplifier and CO4 K2


explain its operation. List few applications.
26. Construct the Phase Locked Loop and explain the working CO5 K3
operation with NE/SE 566 Voltage Control Oscillator.

27. Design a 3-bit R-2R ladder Digital to Analog Converter and explain the CO6 K6
conversion operation with suitable input.
