RAMT servers are used by customer projects for short period (2-8 weeks). RAMT has multiple, fully
separated server instances in Sweden, US and India. There are time periods when the servers are not

upgraded/updated in weekdays too as routine change.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENT for CR approval is to collect RAMT Deployment lead (Tomislav Kovac)
confirmation that AFFECTED SERVER IS NOT IN USE by any customer project during the scheduled
change period.

Cyclic restart of severs is needed to free up resources that builds up on

the application, causing slower performance as the time passes.
Restarting the server results in releasing the locks and freeing up tied up
resources. The required resources are again acquired when the server
comes up. I do not expect the frequency to be more than once a month,
but there is no end time since it would be part of regular maintenance
work in Operations.Since the servers are load balanced, there would
always be at least one server to handle requests from the users. Since the
restart would be cyclic, only one server will be restarted at a given point
of time, and once the server comes up another server would be picked
up. In case a server does not start, further restarts would be suspended
until the problematic server gets back online.
