I. MAPA/NUPW AGREEMENT ON THE WAGES OF HARVESTERS, HARVESTING


KANGANIES, LOADERS AND “OTHER LOADERS”
ON OIL PALM ESTATES, 2019

WAGE RATES – JUNE, 2022

The Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB) has advised that the monthly-weighted average price
for crude palm oil for the current plus one position traded during the month of April 2022 was
RM7,120.50 per tonne. At the price given, the harvesting rates payable for the month of June 2022 will
be those applicable to price zone “Above RM2,100-RM2,200 (inclusive)” in accordance with the above
Agreement.

Accordingly, the price bonus payable for the month of June, 2022 at the above price is RM14.10
per full day’s work per employee.

II. MAPA/NUPW PALM OIL MILL EMPLOYEES AGREEMENT, 2019

WAGE RATES – JUNE, 2022

The MPOB price for crude palm oil, as indicated above, was RM7,120.50 At this price,
the following rates will apply for the month of June 2022:-

III. MAPA/NUPW RUBBER TAPPERS’ WAGE AGREEMENT, 2019

WAGE RATES – JUNE, 2022

In the absence of average daily prices of RSS No. F.O.B. Noon Buyers and SMR L Noon Buyers
price, MAPA and NUPW have agreed, as an interim measure, that the price zone applicable would be
based on the adjusted average price of SMR L Noon Sellers price by using the factor of 0.892.
Accordingly, as the adjusted average price of SMR L for the month ended 23rd May 2022 was 992.55
sen per kg., the price zone applicable is above 400/420 sen per kg. (inclusive). At this price, the following
rates will apply for the month of June, 2022:-

1. TAPPERS :

(a) The Basic/task RM21.80


= RM30.40 per task
Price Bonus/task RM 8.60

(b) The Incentive Payment for High Yielding Fields for each kg. above 15kg./task (dry)
and the rate for scrap (wet) will be :-

1. FIELD EMPLOYEES:
Basic Wage RM57.69 per day worked
Palm Oil Price Bonus RM 8.40 per day worked

2. OTHER GENERAL EMPLOYEES:


(Other than Field Employees and Rubber Factory Employees)
As the monthly-weighted average price for crude palm oil for the current plus one position
traded during the month of April 2022 was RM7,120.50 per tonne, the price bonus payable for
the month of June 2022 is RM8.40 per day worked.

3. RUBBER FACTORY EMPLOYEES:


Based on the adjusted average price of SMR L (Noon Sellers price) for the month ended 23rd
May 2022 which was 992.55 sen per kg as indicated above, the price bonus payable to rubber
factory employees for the month of June 2022 is RM8.60 per day.
V. MINIMUM WAGES ORDER (MWO) 2020:
(a) The following minimum monthly wages of RM1,500.00 or the minimum daily basic
wages of RM57.69 shall apply to the employees covered by the above Agreements
provided that their places of employment are in any City Council or Municipal Council
areas. They are also entitled to price bonus of RM8.40 per day worked as follows:-

(b) Under the Minimum Wages (Amendment) Order 2022, “City Council or Municipal
Council areas” means any areas declared or established as City Council or Municipal

Ordinance 1961 [Sabah No. 11 of 1961] or Local Authorities Ordinance 1996 [Sarawak
Cap. 20], or Putrajaya or Labuan.
