I . ASSCAT Vision, Mission and Goals


Vision
ASSCAT as the premier agro-industrial Higher Education Institution in CARAGA Region capable of producing morally upright, competent and
globally competitive human resource capable to effectively undertake and implement sustainable development.

Mission
ASSCAT shall primarily provide higher professional, technical and special instructions for special purposes and to promote research and
extension services, advanced studies and progressive leadership in agriculture, education, forestry, fishery, engineering, arts and sciences
and other relevant fields.

Goals
A. Develop and offer curricular programs that are relevant and relevant and responsive to the peculiar needs and urgencies of the region;
B. Generate, develop and transfer appropriate technologies to address the needs of the agro-industrial sector in the service area;
C. Develop disciplined, responsible and well-trained students to become effective citizens in the community and ready to face the challenge in the highly

F. Build, construct, improve and upgrade appropriate physical facilities in harmony with the ecosystem to attain harmonious co-existence of man and nature;

a. Demonstrate the competencies required of the Philippine TVET trainers-Assessors Qualifications Framework (PTTQF);
b. Demonstrate broad and coherent, meaningful knowledge and skills in technology and livelihood education;
c. Apply with minimal supervision specialized knowledge and skills in technology and livelihood education;
d. Demonstrate higher level literacy, communication, numeracy, critical thinking, learning skills needed for higher learning;
e. Manifest a deep and principled understanding of the learning processes and the role of the teacher in facilitating these processes in their students;
f. Show a deep and principled understanding of how educational processes relate to larger historical, social, cultural and political processes.
g. Apply a wide range of teaching process skills (including curriculum development, educational assessment, and teaching approaches); and

IV. COURSE DESCRIPTION

Work Immersion is one of the course requirements for graduation. A BTLED- Agri-fishery Arts student has to undergo Work Immersion in an industry
that directly relates to the student’s specialization. Through Work Immersion, the students are exposed to and become familiar with work-related environment
related to their field of specialization to enhance their competence.
