GUIDELINES:

Instructions:

1. This assignment should have a cover page following format as stated in page 2.
2. The assignment should be written neatly in a report form and should be in English
language using MSWord, font Arial 11 with a 1.5 spacing, 6 pt, except for Executive
Summary and References.
3. Please submit your assignment in a softcopy (pdf only).
4. Turn it in report of similarity must be less than or equal to 20%. (Need to attached
report summary).
5. Plagiarism, copying and cheating will NOT be awarded any mark, and disciplinary
action will be taken instead.
6. The complete report should be submitted on or before LECTURE 7 (21 NOV 2021,
SUNDAY- before 11:59 pm) in the Ulearn Platform. Delayed submission will be
penalised.
7. Any enquires/ questions/ problems regarding this assignment should be directed to your
lecturer either during the class lecture, WhatsApp group or via online platform (Ulearn
forum).

Please read the Financial Statements and Notes to the Accounts of the Air Asia Berhad for years
2019 and 2020 (link in the Ulearn) carefully before start doing the assignment.

INSTRUCTIONS:

a. You are required to analyse the financial statements and notes to the accounts of Air
Asia Berhad for 2019 and 2020.

i. Analyse the company’s performance based on relevant ratio analysis


computations. You are required to choose TWO categories of ratio covered in
this subject, limited to data disclosed in the financial statements and notes to the
accounts.

ii. Based on the computations, how is the company’s performance in these TWO
financial years? Justify your answer.

(4 marks)

b. Analyse the cash flow of the company for these TWO financial years. Is the company’s
cash flow was in a favourable condition? Justify your answer with facts and figures.
