Lesson Overview
● Cooperating School refers to the public or private elementary/high school where the
teaching intern undergoes off/in campus teaching under a cooperating teacher who
assists him/her teaching stint.
● The cooperating school serves as a training ground or laboratory of teaching. The
prospective teacher gets the “feel” of the school and “feel of being a “real” teacher.
● A teacher training program greatly depends on how well the internship program is
carried out in the cooperating schools.
● The characteristics of cooperating school that nurture and inspire learner
participation:
o Friendly atmosphere where the learners and other members of the
community live in love, care and understanding.
o Safe and secure environment where the learners and other members of the
community are free from hazards, accidents, and other calamities.
o Positive and non-threatening environment where respect, fairness,
fairness, support, and communication are present in the entire school system.

A clear vision and a common mission identify the learning to aligned and achieved to help

● Vision statement describes the school as it would appear in the future.

As student intern the school profile connect to Philippine professional standards for
teachers is that they have a fulfill a variety of different subjects and will bring us to
the realities of what means to be a teacher and what teaching art all about. It will
provide experiential support for our profession education courses. I realized how
much teachers do to bring up a good education to the students and maintain the safe
and learning and the teaching learning process. This professional standards for
teachers will guide us in a right way to become effective teachers.
