metallurgy related subjects like physical metallurgy, heat treatment etc., as well as studies of
modern materials science including nanomaterials, ceramics, polymers and composites, electronic
and magnetic materials.
Minor in Renewable Energy covering study of Solar, Wind, Bio and Hydro energy systems.

Working for developing silicon nanowire device using Hot Wire Chemical Vapor Deposition at
Semiconductor Thin films and Plasma Processing Lab.
Previously studied effect of change of sputtering process parameters on the deposition of
Indium-Tin-Oxide.
Handled various instruments like surface profilometer (Dektak), UV-Visible
spectrophotometer.
Studied characterization techniques like AFM, Electron Microscopy, X-ray photoemission
spectroscopy etc.

Investigated microstructural changes in the caps used for passive components like resistors
and capacitors at Chemical and Materials Testing Lab.
Observed and studied various industrial processes like PVD, magnetron sputtering etc. in
