Context :

Kraftshala runs training programs in Sales & Marketing for working professionals, graduates,
and business school students. We believe that education becomes a lot more fruitful, and fun
when you get kickass practitioners, the real experts, to train emerging talent. In order to
make sure our students get the most out of their programs, we ensure they’re introduced to
a huge number of industry experts that can teach, guide, mentor, and coach them.

As a Program Manager of a dynamic program, you are going to have multiple responsibilities
demanding your attention. One of your key responsibilities is to ensure that the programs are
running effectively, efficiently, and elegantly from enrolments to final assessments. This
requires an exceptional ability to plan, prioritize, and organize an array of tasks and other
commitments. Apart from this, there are several other key projects that take shape from time
to time.

Here are 3 Real Case scenarios for which you will need to provide the most effective solutions
according to your understanding of the role:

Case 1 - Students from the B-School batch in the Digital Brand Building Program are
preparing for an online test which is their final assessment, scheduled to happen on the 31st
of August. The test begins and half way through, a couple of students call you because they
faced power shortage issues and were unable to continue with their test online due to the
same. Elaborate the steps you would take keeping in mind student experience and providing
timely resolutions for the same.
Case 2- The students are divided up into teams of 3-4 people, as soon as they join the
program. Then they receive a group project to work on every week related to a brand
which is decided by the Kraftshala Academics team. There are 5 groups in this batch with 4
students on each team. One such team of students from the B- School batch in the Sales
Leadership Program are unhappy with their group. You took notice of this in the peer review
forms they fill out after every project submission. 2 Members on the team seem to be
doing all the work while the other 2 seem to slack off giving various excuses like assignments
in college, or extra class lectures etc. Hence the group requests for a re mapping of the team.
The students have completed 3 weeks out of a 12 week program so far. What will your plan of
action be in order to ensure a seamless learning experience for each student and the team as
a whole? Remember that team sizes cannot go beyond 4 or below 3 members per team.

Case 3 - A new batch of students have just joined the program. They are to receive
communication on what their first week would look like for them. Here are the different
components of the program you will have to consider:
a. Content to be watched online on Kraftshala’s platform
b. Group Project to work on based on the content
c. Discussion on the group project, to be scheduled with an expert from the
industry after they have made their submission.
Create a draft of the E-mail that you would share with the students for the same. Focus on
providing simple, clear and detailed information. Also ensure that your communication
sparks interest and curiosity within the student.

Pro Tips:

● For each item of the agenda, try to work with attention to details.
● Make sure you prioritize the tasks well and display the prioritization and rationale for
the same.
● Ensure you keep the end user in mind while formulating all plans of action.

Hint : It would be a good idea to go through our website and social media platforms to
understand the different stakeholders we work with. Feel free to include more things in
addition to the questions mentioned above to make your proposal more impactful
(optional).
Some parameters you’ll be evaluated on:

- Completeness, structure, and sharpness of your answers

- Choice of activities and how well they are integrated into the plan
- Exhaustiveness of work
- Attention to Detail
- Empathy

Good luck!
