Ladies and Gentlemen:

This is to respectfully submit the proposed Annual Budget of Barangay Magallanes for Fiscal Year 2022.

The estimated income for Fiscal year 2022 amounts to Three Million Eight Hundred Fifty Thousand and Ninety-
One Pesos (P3,850,091.00) and we have prepared a proposed Expenditure Program for the same amount.

The proposed Annual Budget has been prepared in coordination with the Barangay Development Council.

The proposed Expenditure Program follows the development direction of the Barangay Development Plan as
approved by the Barangay Assembly. As such, it is fully consistent with the approved barangay Annual
Investment Program (AIP) for Fiscal Year 2022.

In compliance with the requirements of law, the following have been provided:

20% Development Fund ------------------------------------------ P 753,618.20


10% Sangguniang Kabataan Fund ---------------------------- P 385,009.10
5% Barangay Risk Reduction and Management Fund---P 188,404.55

Provisions for Senior Citizen/PWD and 1% LCPC have also been included. The 5% GAD requirement has been
attributed to the existing PPAs.

In sum, we have programmed the following amounts for the two programs:

General Administration Program ------------------------------- P 2,094,706.43


Basic Services and Facilities Program ------------------------ P 1,755,384.57
TOTAL-------------------------------------------------------------- P 3,850,091.00

Attached to the proposed Annual Budget for Fiscal Year 2022 are the approved AIP, List of Projects under the
20% Development Fund, Plantilla of Personnel, and DILG-endorsed GAD Plan and Budget.

The Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) has prepared their separate budget pursuant to R.A. No. 10742 and is
submitting the same as an integral part of the Barangay Annual Budget for enactment.

Accordingly, I respectfully request the Honorable Members of the Sangguniang Barangay to enact an
Appropriation Ordinance authorizing the proposed Barangay Annual Budget for Fiscal Year 2022.
