Discuss the mission of your university from the point of view of content, relevance, clarity,

1. Reflection on the Mission

 WSU is dedicated to produce competent graduates, provide problem solving research


outputs, transfer appropriate technologies and deliver demand driven community and
consultancy services.

 WSU aspires to be one of the best five universities nationally and top ranked university in
East Africa by 2020.

of the institution?
 By understand more fully our university’s’ mandates, roles, responsibilities and
expectations.
 By discussing leadership contexts, mandates and functions
 By deals with the role of professionalism and professional development
 By addressing inclusive higher education with respect to some principles of diversity,
inclusion and equity.

1. What have you understood about reflective higher education teachers in higher
education from the above cases?
 I have understood that different teacher shows different forms of reflective in
their teaching and learning process. One was active in reflective form that used
the tree types of reflection in it teaching lesson. Other teacher was careless in
their teaching system. Also other was loss their induction in the staff.

2. How effective are the above cases in changing your attitude towards applying
reflective thinking in your study and in your teaching? Explain.
 Fresh teacher should have induction i.e. the relationship to other senior/ older
teachers to share the information. By using the tree forms of reflective in our
lesson i should teach effective teaching learning process in my session.

3. After going through the cases, do you feel you should change your attitude
towards the application of reflection in your practice? Explain.
 Yes, by learning from the above cases, I refine my shelf to use effectively the
three forms of reflection i.e. in, on and for action in my teaching and learning
process and practices, in addition to reflection levels.
