Summary

I am an Electrical Engineer specialized in Telecommunications with a PhD. in wireless networks.


Currently, I am a researcher at Plan Ceibal and I also teach at UDELAR, the largest university in
Uruguay, where I am Assistant Professor Grade 3 since 2015. Since 2012 I am also member of the
national research system from ANII (uruguayan agency of research and innovation).

My early research work was in the signal processing area, specifically working in several image
processing problems. Then I moved into computer networks modeling and analysis, particularly
focusing on wireless networks. Since 2015, when I finished my PhD., I have been working in two
main research lines: wireless networks performance and network traffic monitoring and analysis.

I present below a brief description of my education, experience and publications. I also attach an
extended resume (in spanish) of my public ANII profile.

wireless networks performance and network measurements and analysis.
