III. Procedure
A. Preparatory Activities
1. Drill:
Arrange the rambbled letters to form the correct words.

2. Review:
 What makes you think that a person is healthy?
 If suddenly you felt ill, what will you do? Where should you go?

3. Motivation:
Look at the picture. Identify what each picture shows.
(buying products, health care and information and giving services)

Ask:
 Do you go to the grocery or market? Why?
 How do you decide when choosing a product?
 Let us decide and choose the best options:
1. When diarrhea attacks on our little sister or brother, we should…
a. boil guava leaves to make juice
b. buy the prescribed medicine
2. Your older sister asked you to buy a whitening soap, you should...
a. buy the soap advertised in the television and recommended by doctors
b. buy a cheaper soap from the sidewalk

B. Lesson Proper
1. Activity 1:
Let pupils watch the video about CONSUMER HEALTH
Ask:
 Who are the consumers?
 What are the things we purchase or buy?
 Are they necessary?
(Discussions)

2. Activity 2: GROUP WORK


The class will be divided into three groups.
Group 1: Choosing the necessities in life. Put on the basket the needs as
a wise consumer.
Group 2: Consumer rights or responsibilities?
Group 3: Health Service or Health product?

C. Generalization
 Who are the consumers?
 Is it important to know our rights as a consumer?
 What are the rights of a consumer?

D. Application: POST IT!


Decide on the things a wise consumer should purchase. The good things should be
placed on the “Tree of Life” and the bad things be dumped and pasted on the trash
bin.
IV. Evaluation
Identify if the statement is True or False. Write TS if it is True and write FS if it is false.

purchased or used that will have effect on our health.
__ 2. Health care is the data and facts gathered from media, professionals
and other agencies.

V. Assignment
Bring labels of any medicinal products for our next meeting.
