Nashik Municipal Corporation decided to announce an Open design competition for A


Centerfor performing arts at one of the busiest location to work as Cultural center at
Gangapur road Nahik. The capacity will befor500people.

They decided to design and construct A Center for performing arts which will also be
developed as a Cultural center of the City. It will be a center for all the performing arts
likeDance and drama. It will be a multi-functional buildings on a site, with complexities related
toadvanced services like HVAC, Fire-fighting, Acoustics & Structural design with respect to
siteplanningandintegrationofcomplexrelationshipbetweentheform,functionandcontext.

Designerhastounderstandandconsidervariousissuesandaspectslikesustainability,Earthquakepro
ofconstruction,Renewableenergy,emergency/disastermanagementetc.andtheintegrationofthe
seaspectsinarchitecturaldesign.
