PERFORMANCE TASK FOR THIRD AND FOURTH QUARTER: PRODUCING A ONE-ACT PLAY

GOAL Your goal is to promote social change and development through literature – a means of connecting to the world.
ROLE You are the newest theater artist of Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA).
AUDIENCE Your audience would be your teachers and your classmates.
As an observance of the World Day for Audiovisual Heritage, the newest artists of PETA proudly present a classic one-
SITUATION
act play adapted in the context of 21st century.
Create and perform a modern adaptation of the one-act play assigned to your group. You need to pass the ‘adapted’
script of the play to your subject teacher on the second week of December. The script must follow the format: Times
New Roman, 12, narrow margin, and no spacing. Stage Directions and characters must be italicized. Include your group

Your presentation will be evaluated based on the script (how the story is adapted to the modern era), effective verbal and
non-verbal strategies, enthusiasm and effort, and technical aspects of the production.
