 Greet the trainees
 Let the trainees fill-up the First, I would like to welcome each and every one. I am RHEUBY KYLE C.

Learner’s characteristics Second, I would like to thank and congratulate all of you for choosing
CORE INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY the place and venue for
accumulating the knowledge and skills you desire for.

Before we go on let me first check the attendance. As I call your name,


may I ask you to please submit your class card. This will confirm that you
are officially enrolled in this qualification.

(Call at least two STUDENTS name)

This time, I am going to administer the pre-assessment tools for you to


fill-up. This pre-assessment tools will be used in the preparation and
scheduling of the activities of each trainee.

First pre-assessment tool is the learner’s characteristics this to identify


your learning styles. I will give 30 minutes to fill-in the said form. Get
one and pass. Ok done may I collect the learner’s characteristics form.

Second is the self-assessment check this is to recognize the skills that


are previously learned and experienced again I will give you 30 minutes
to fill-in the said form. Get one and pass. Ok done may I collect the self-
assessment check list.

Lastly is the pre-test this to determine and measure current knowledge


about the topics covered in the qualification. It is a multiple choice type
of test. Fifteen items. Encircle the letter of the correct answer. I will give
you 30 minutes to accomplish the pre-test. Get one and pass.

Time is up may I collect the pre-test.


I hope you really answer honestly the pre-assessment tools because all

At this point I will be assigning you your respective Work Station

 Assign Trainees to the Ms. kho, based on your self-assessment check, you have been working
different Work Station in a restaurant for the past two years. You have knowledge and skills on
Preparing the dining room/restaurant area for services. And based on
the certification of your company, you have consistent excellent
performance on Preparing the dining room/restaurant area for
services. And base on the demonstration you had presented to me it
shows that you are competent on Unit of Competency Prepare the
dining room/restaurant area for services. For that we will recognize
your prior learning so you will be exempted on Workstation Number 1
which is Preparing the dining room/restaurant area for services and
your first assignment is on Workstation Number 2 which is Welcome
guests and take food and beverage.

Ok Ms. kho you may now proceed to the learning resource area get the
CBLM on UC2 Which is Welcoming guests and take food and beverage
order, read the Information Sheet and after reading the Information
Sheet you answer the self-check and check your answer base on the
answer key if you have any question you can call my attention. Ok, Mr.
NIO you may now proceed to the learning resource area..

Ms. Acosta, based on your pre-assessment tools. Your first assignment


will be on Workstation Number 2 which is Welcome guests and take
food and beverage orders . Please follow me to the computer area.

viewing you may proceed to the learning resource area and answer the
self-check and check your answer base on the answer key. If any

Achievement for being competent on the said unit of competency.

 Administer Post-test and
Training Evaluation So you have undergone all the unit of competencies in Food and
Beverage Services NCII.

Ok trainees, I have here with me some forms for you to fill up and
accomplish. One set if for your post-test and another set is the training
evaluation.

First I will administer to you the post-test.

This post test is to measure what you had learned during the training. It
is a multiple choice type of test. Fifteen items. Encircle the letter of the
correct answer. I will give you 30 minutes to accomplish the pre-test.
Get one and pass. Time is up may I collect the post-test.

Now I will administer to you the training evaluation.

The primary purpose of this training evaluation is to identify areas for


improvement, for that reason please fill up what is outline in the
training evaluation honestly.

I will give you thirty minutes to accomplish the training evaluation. Get
one and pass.

Done? May I collect the training evaluation?

Again trainees I will like to congratulate everybody for having been


completed all the unit of competencies required in this qualification
Food and Beverage Services NCII. And you are now qualified to undergo
the National Assessment.

We will be announcing when and where will be you’re National


assessment. Please keep posted.
