Project Description:

The system maintains and stores book information based on the needs of students. Both students and library administrators will benefit from the system because it allows them to

maintain track of all of the books in the library at all times. Both the administrator and the student can use it to find the book they need. - Jimenez

Main Objective:

The main objective of proponents is to develop an Online Library that will provide good service to students, professors, and the university. It effectively utilizes the facilities and

resources available in the library. - Paredes

Specific Objectives:
1. The system would be able to handle users ( Admin and a Borrower )
2. Displays the available equipment to borrowers
3. Gives borrowers a notification for its return date
4. The system would be able to sort its equipment by type, date registered, and availability.
5. After the system is implemented less human force will be required to maintain the library thus reducing the overall cost.

Scope:
1. This project covers creating a web-based/software application system that displays a gallery of the products that the customer can borrow.

2. The account’s borrower can rate the product they borrowed, may it be a Likert scale (1 to 5 scaling point).

3. The system can help Students to find Literatures fast and easy.

4. The system can provide a detailed status of the products before the users/borrowers can borrow the products.

Limitations|Delimitations:

1. Limited of available equipment’s borrowed.


2. The borrowers need to compile how many days the equipment will be used.
3. User legitimacy may not be covered 100% by the system.
4. System is not responsible for any damages that the product will have after turn-over of products.
