Introduction
Robert Kerr has run a successful delivery company in NSW since 1995. He has 14
administrative staff, 8 sales staff and 33 delivery personnel who use bicycles, cars and vans to
deliver across Sydney and regional NSW. Due to his business expanding at a rapid rate, he is
going to begin operations in Canberra, Melbourne and Brisbane in three months’ time.

Robert plans to hire 6 additional administrative staff, 5 sales staff and 17 extra delivery
personnel to operate the various locations in Canberra, Melbourne and Brisbane. As well as
purchasing new computers for staff at the new locations, he has decided to replace all existing
computers within the business because they are getting old and running slowly.

Objectives
The purpose of this research is to study each of the brands of desktops, laptops and PDAs in
terms of features, performance and functionality. To carry out purchasing in the future. The
requirements are as follows:

 16 new desktops

 9 new laptops which are lightweight

 35 PDAs with the latest GPS tracking

 All computers should contain the latest version of Microsoft office software and antivirus
software.

I have get above figures by calculating the total working days in a week which would be 5
days a week as each staff need to have 2 days off so Robert has suggested me to get 20
desktops, 13 laptop and 50 pdas but when did the research I find that we only need 16
desktop 9 laptops and 50 pdas.

I review and plan information management and research strategies to ensure that the results
are correct and effective by means of collecting information about the stylus and computer
speeds of the various brands of computers are compared to analyze the brand proposition that
suits the needs of the user.

Referencing is a standardized method of formatting the information sources you have used in
your assignments or written work. Any given referencing style serves two purposes:

o Acknowledges the source

o Allows the reader to trace the source.

Failure to reference, or poor referencing can be classified as Academic Misconduct. It is a

standard required of scholarly communication. It is also a standard for written communication.

Referencing:

o Adherence to academic writing standards.

o Respect for and acknowledges the work of any scholars.

o Provides evidence that we have read and considered the relevant literature.

o Allows validation and confirmation of sources used in your work, and gives work credibility.

The operation should be used to write the name system 'date' system, such as Harvard, with
short reference in parentheses in the text will become more popular than the system with
reference to the source of all the information listed in the notes at the bottom of each page, or at
the end of the work will help to Find the information can be easily and quickly.

I used a method to collect data in research using surveys. Surveys are a good way of gathering
a large amount of data, providing a broad perspective. Surveys can be administered
electronically, by telephone, by mail or face to face. Mail and electronically administered surveys
have a wide reach, are relatively cheap to administer, information is standardized and privacy
can be maintained.

Explain how reliable, valid and efficient they are.

To give you the information I collected are reliable and accurate. I used to collect information
from a reliable source and reference with statistics clearly. This will help the screening accuracy
of information as well.

 Online Resources

An online source is material you find online. It can be an online newspaper, magazine or
television website such as NBC or CNN. Peer-reviewed journals, webpages, forums and blogs

are also online sources. Some other names for online sources are electronic sources, web
sources and Internet sources. Since so many sources are available online.

 Non-electronic sources

I researched the required information from books, journals and library articles. Including
technology magazines is a good source of information.

f. Plan to use key words, Boolean operators and at least one other research tool
include examples.

Keywords are the search terms that enter into the database to describe the topic of items that
want to retrieve. The database will word-match keywords against the text of the article, and
deliver results that match what enter.

Pick Keywords : Breaking your topic or research question into keywords is step after define
topic. Pull out the words that indicate the main concepts of topic.

Example:

 Research question: Which brand of computer is the best and most cost effective?

 Keywords: computer, effectiveness, price

 Words such as "what" and "taking" do not relate to the core concepts of the research
question and are not effective keywords.

g. Plan and document your approach to conducting research in a legal and

ethical manner.

It is important to be aware of the research to proceed under the law and ethics to avoid
unethical behaviour. The research is likely to violate the ethics research if the bias and not loyal
in the analysis of the findings. So all the research process to keep in mind that the law and
ethics is important.

Acer's Swift 1 comes with an Intel Pentium N4200 processor, 4GB of RAM and a 64GB
eMMC storage drive, which provided adequate performance in our tests. With 10 tabs open
in Google Chrome -- including streams from YouTube, Pandora and Netflix, along with a few
rounds of Bubble Witch Saga. I didn't experience lag.

When the data were compared in terms of price Acer Swift 1 cheap, installation cost and

compared in terms of price Acer cheap, No significant costs in the software installation and no
annual service charges and the functionality PDAs is appropriate and can meet the needs of the
enterprise with the latest GPS tracking. So I think PDAs both 50 machine to purchasing should
be a Acer.
