What is Scratch it!

Scratch it! Is a free scratch / tapestop effect vst plugin, it simulates vinylscratch and tapestop
effects.

With the envelope you can define how the stop button works on the audiosignal, it allows you
to define up to 16 points in a synchronized beat grid, like this the stop button can act as
“scratch sequence”.

System requirements:

Pentium III or higher / AMD with SSE support,1200 MHz, 512 MB RAM, Windows 2000 or
XP or newer, VST compatible 32 bit (64 bit with vst bridge or j bridge) host software

Tested and known to work in many VST compatible hosts like Cubase, Live, Renoise , FL
Studio, Audiomulch,..

Install / uninstall:

Scratch it! is really easy to install / uninstall: after unpacking the zip file just copy / delete the
.dll into / from your vst folder, that’s it!

Host integration:

Cubase & Live:

Load Scratch it! as an insert effect on an audio track or instrument track. Then you need to
create a MIDI track and assign Scratch it! as target for the MIDI track. You now can control
Scratch it! with your MIDI controller (scratch your audiosignal with the pitchbend wheel!).

Controls:

(1) Scratch wheel:


 Scratch the audiosignal forward or backward up to double speed

(2) Stop:
 Activate the stop/scratch envelope

(3) Envelope:
 Set up to 16 envelope points to create the stopcurve
 Rightclick on the envelope to set the number of points
