This document provides the lesson plan for a class on modals. The objectives are for students to be able to choose the appropriate modal to complete a sentence, cite the importance of modals, and participate in a group activity. The lesson includes preparatory activities like a video to motivate students. Students will then arrange jumbled letters to reveal modals and analyze their uses. They will be divided into groups to present activities using modals, like constructing sentences or doing a role play. To assess understanding, students will choose the correct modal for sentences. The assignment is for students to write a poem using modals.
