Strengths

 Consumer Demand
o Over the past few years, plastic furniture has grown steadily in popularity. Plastic
furniture is generally more economical than hardwood furniture. At the height of
the pandemic, furniture designed for work from home or online classes set up is
in high demand.
 Affordability
o In comparison to wood/ metal furniture, plastic offers much cheaper options for
users. The reason for its widespread popularity is its affordability. Plastics can be
found everywhere. Plastics can be recycled everywhere. They are one of the
most affordable materials available for mass production. Because plastic has a
low manufacturing cost, it makes the finished product more affordable for
customers, and even at a low cost, the furniture can be luxurious.
 Environment Friendly/ Sustainability
o The plastic industry has a negative image in the eyes of the world, but plastic
furniture today barely poses such a threat. The single used plastic can be turned

material.

furniture. Due to the industry’s size, many dupes are available for the original
furniture models in the current days. Many people complain that this leads to a
lack of unique designs. If any brand comes up with innovation and a unique
modern design, the competitors develop substitute models. This phenomenon
highly limits the capacity of the industry.
ADVERTISEMENT PLAN

The advertisement plan of EL SILLIÓN is to promote the product through online


advertisement since social media and online websites is used by people every day. EL SILLIÓN
will also collaborate with different environment advocates and social media influencers to have a
campaign in raising awareness about single use plastic and how does this affect our
environment. This campaign will also open an opportunity to have a single use plastic collection
drive and lead to EL SILLIÓN endorsement. The collaboration is a big step in making noise
about the company and the product to become well-known worldwide.

Other promotion such as brochure, print ads, and word-of- mouth will also be used to
advertise the product. This way of promotion is much cheaper and affordable so we can have
low cost expenses.
