Standard Operating Procedure for the conduct of online Model Examinations

 The examinations shall be conducted through online mode for 3 hours and the
question paper format will be as follows

Total Marks: 100 Marks

Part A – 10 X 2 = 20 Marks (No Choice) , Part B – 5 X 16 = 80 Marks (Choice).


 Respective question papers will be assigned in the Google classroom of concern
subject as an assignment. Students can access the questions paper 10 minutes
before the commencement of the exam.

 If they did not receive the question paper within the specified time they shall
contact their respective subject handling faculty members/Tutors/ CIA
Coordinators.
 Students should write their examination in online mode from their place and strictly
follow the procedure as given below.
o Students should log in to the shared Google meet links 15 minutes before the
commencement of exams. While writing the exams students shall be
available in the meet link in video mode
o Students must write the examination in the A4 size un-ruled paper on both
sides limited to 40 pages (20 sheets).
o Students must write the examinations in blue or black pen and they are not
allowed to type the answer on the paper. Further, they are not permitted to
copy and paste the images from books in their answer scripts.
o Register Number, Name of the Student, Subject Code, and Name of Subject
are to be written on the top of each page. (Refer Annexure- I)
o Date of Examination, Page Number, and Signature of the Student should be
written at the bottom of each page. (Refer Annexure- I)

o The cover page of each answer script should be in the format as in
Annexure - II (Printed/Handwritten). The students must fill the information
in the sheet and leave the backside of the cover page blank. Before
signing the cover page students must go through instructions carefully. No
further claim will be entertained in this regard.

o After completing the examination, the student shall scan the answer script
including the cover page (only in Portrait mode), and convert it as a PDF
file with filename: Register Number-Subject Code
Note: Ensure that the images scanned are legible.

o Students must upload the answer script in the Google classroom within 30
minutes after the completion of each examination.
o The answer scripts of only those students who have uploaded the PDF in
their respective subject Google classroom within the prescribed time limit
shall be considered for evaluation.

o Answer scripts uploaded beyond the prescribed limit will not be


considered for evaluation and will be treated as absent.
o The students' handwriting shall be verified with the existing handwriting
available with the office of COE and any mismatch will be considered as
impersonation (malpractice).
o If the evaluator identifies any copied content from other students’ answer
scripts it will be treated as malpractice.
o For any examination related queries, the students may contact their respective
Tutors / CIA Coordinators.
