Teaching strategies:
1. Distribute a set of picture cards to the pupils in
the groups.

4. Point to any numbered box and guide the pupils
from each group to say the words correctly.
d. Post listening-speaking:
1. Get pupils’ attention to AB page 17.
2. Name the pictures with phonemes /s/ or / æ / in
each set.
3. Get the pupils to circle the correct pictures and
repeat the sounds.
4. Go through the answers with the pupils.
